Great atmosphere (albeit a humid and hot early evening out in the undercover outdoor area without air conditioning) but pleasant all the same. Very friendly, somewhat laidback service and the food came out very promptly despite a busy night. Delicious, fresh ingredients on the pizzas and decent drink selection (but I would suggest BYO if you’re fussy about what wine or soft drinks you like)

Delicious and unique variety of flatbread type pizzas. The crust melts in your mouth. My favorite was the chicken topped pizza. Others in our party swore by the lamb.
Fun and casual.

Friday night dinner. Very limited menu however if you like pizza you won’t be dissapointed. Consider BYO non alcoholic drinks as they only have ginger beer, juice or water. No cola or Coke / Pepsi products, or alternatives.
I would say not climate controlled as majority dining is outdoors with fans / evaporative cooler, but that won’t combat extremely hot weather.
Venue itself is fabulous. Old cottage renovated to shabby aesthetic worth simple solid chairs and tables. Very limited indoor. Outdoor is a hodge podge of old tables, 60s era chairs and random chaotic decor. But it works. Creates a casual, really relaxed vibe with a border collie roaming free looking for pats and food. Mostly food.
Staff are really casual and friendly, but without that ‘wanting to impress’ vibe. Very personable and efficient without really intruding.
The food. Wow. It’s limited, I mentioned that at the start. About 10 pizzas, 1 salad and some nibbles for starters. I’ll talk more because I forgot photos.
I had the Lamb turkish, but other members had chicken turkish and a supreme. Turkish relates to the base, a super thin oval crust, rolled at the edges and topped with prime ingredients, including zatar and kalamata olives on mine. The supreme was also super thin and crusty base, with flavour out of this world. That truly lives up to its name and bears no resemblance to chainstore pizzas.
Priced at around $30, they’re worth every penny. Really too big for one meal, but the dog helps; he’s a good boy.
Parking is tricky with limited street parking however after 6pm when most businesses and cafes close its quite reasonable.
Very limited hours, check the website.
100% recommend trying this venue but please check menu and access before to avoid dissapointment.

I fell in love with this beautiful place. When you are there, you can feel this kind of vibes of little town everywhere. Everyone very kind and the food awesome. For us, olives and almonds as entrée were a plus. You can split your flavors of pizza in two, so it’s a good choice for share. Also the pizza is big so it’s for two people. Good ambient, good music, with style and yummy.

The food was great and the staff made the atmosphere amazing. Be aware that they don’t serve soft drinks which I found surprising but didn’t complain. The pizza’s are quite large and service can sometimes take a while and our table didn’t even get one of our pizza’s. Not really complaining it was a great meal and would go back.

I had the lamb pizza. It was great.
School holidays and Friday night so it was busy, the wait was worth it.

Beautiful earthen crust ensures that there are no leftovers..

My husband and I went to Russells for dinner the other night. The team was really accommodating fitting us in before the dinner rush without a booking. We tried the prawn and the blue cheese and walnut pizza. Both pizzas were delicious and definitely fun to try something a little different. Overall would be very happy to go back again.
