It was a Christmas party from the job. The place was okay. The company was fine. It was good to share the time with my co-workers and employer. The DJ was off the chain. She was awesome and the mail DJ as well. Security was tight and on point

I’m not sure what led the company to choose this venue for the holiday party. The serving sizes were barely enough for a child. I waited in line for almost 25 minutes to receive my food on a flimsy paper plate. The DJ played a terrible selection of outdated tunes. I’m fairly certain the company spent a substantial amount on this event, yet we received just one drumstick, a small scoop of potato salad, and a tiny portion of overly salty greens. For dessert, we had a very limited serving of either peach cobbler or banana pudding presented in a styrofoam cup. The owner took to the microphone to promote and urge guests to purchase alcohol. While it’s a charming and cozy venue, it definitely requires improved management and enhanced food choices.

Are there new owners and cooks as well? I purchased a peach cobbler tray for my mom and it most definitely, did not taste like the same woman who has been there made it. Overall there was a different taste and look to it.
