We are truly blessed to have a spot so authentic here in Lexington! Can’t recommend this place more! It is extremely affordable for the portions you get. The owner is incredibly friendly and truly cares and goes above and beyond for her guests. Can’t wait for our next visit!
As a Japanese living in San Francisco, I can guarantee you this is one of the best & most authentic casual Japanese food restaurants in America.
Even San Francisco doesn’t have a restaurant like this! (We have many pretentious overpriced “Omakase” restaurants.) People in Kentucky are very lucky!
I visited here for dinner. I tired their food truck 2 years ago and I was very impressed by it.
This time, I came to their newly-opened restaurant.
The interior is clean and the counter seating was comfortable. It’s really exciting to see their weekly menu changes. When I was there, they served delicious Tontotsu ramen.
Mamiko-san is always very friendly and full of smiles.
Don’t forget to order Yakisoba and Gyoza!
Try weekly menu items to expand your Japanese food palate!
Highly recommended!
The service is the best you get in Lexington KY! The food is to die for . I could give it 6 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. I am holding my breath to see Teppan restaurant open in Hamburg but will go off the eating Hamburg path for a treat.
