I came in yesterday, with my family. It’s the holidays they’re in town we came in to spend some time together catch up before Christmas.
The food was good as always and overall the atmosphere was as a bit different but we ignored it . The staff is always welcoming always attentive, however Jess was taking care of us and she was paying more attention to everything else but her service. She was outside talking to the police she was talking to patrons outside. While there are other servers she was on the side we were sitting.
We needed refills napkins and plates I. I wasn’t pleased but I wasn’t shocked she’s never been my server but she has done my to go’s a couple times and her demeanor is not approachable or welcoming for an establishment so close and family oriented! Again the food is always good and everyone l’ve come across is always so nice.

I am a longtime regular, 3-5 times a week. Typically sit at the bar. Sat at a table with 4 others. Ordering was difficult… out of 5 customers, first ordered 20 wings… she thought that was all and walked away … I spoke up that we all needed to order, so she took another order of 20 wings and tried leaving again… I stopped her and stated there are more here that want to order… I personally bussed our table 4 times as table was full from appetizer plates and empty drinks.. then asked for our bills and she seemed surprised that a mix of 5 adults were paying separately.. we asked for bill 3 times..i never received mine. Again asking for my bill.. finally a server I knew came over and I explained my situation.. finally received my bill and I was given this site to leave a review..

I come here quite often to pick up pizzas I placed a order at the counter. I placed an order around 6:45 on Saturday evening with one of the usual women she was extremely helpful told me to come back in around 20 minutes. Came back in 20 minutes picked up my order waited in line when I approached the counter I was immediately given the dirty look which is evident on camera I am not sure if there is audio but if there is I’m sure that could be picked up on as I was insulted numerous times upon receiving a pizza it was just sort of tossed on the counter and nothing else was said to me. I have never had this experience there before we come there for the food and environment due to the friendly service, but the woman that was at the counter when I came to pick up my order was not the same lady that took my order this woman was somebody else I’ve not seen previously. She was a dark-skinned woman hair slicked back dark brown hair with a few grays in it she had a I believe red or burgundy Gus pizza sweatshirt or hoodie on and she looked to be in her late 40s to ’50s. But somebody definitely needs to reprimand her because this place will end up losing business over the comment she was making. The only thing that I did was approach the register and immediately get looked at with a dirty look and then she proceeded to say in a sarcastic non-joking way that she’s supposed to just guess what I needed? And that she supposed to use her magical powers to figure out what I wanted? When I told her what I wanted before I even got a chance to, she then interrupted me and asked the original lady that took my order if I was there for a pickup and the other lady that took my order originally said yes and then the lady that was being rude said to her ” okay thank you! Like that was so hard. And then she proceeds to say it again about because she thought she was supposed to just use her magical powers and guess what I wanted. It just made no sense and I just was very perplexed because she wasn’t joking around she was just very rude and judgmental and I honestly and still confused as to why. But if there’s anybody else that have had any experience with her just know that you’re definitely not alone and hopefully they remove her from the business. Again if there is cameras the time frame was right at 7:00 p.m. Saturday evening.. I am the woman in the blue hoodie approaching the counter and you can see her movements and actions over the course of the next minute or two as my order is being grabbed for me so please refer to that footage and if you have any questions I can be reached at my email on here as I would hate this to happen to anybody else It was completely embarrassing and very uncomfortable thank you

Bartender did not write down my order. She said the wrong order to me. & I had to correct her.

We eat here occasionally with our group and they do a great job managing our chaos. They can usually seat 10-12 of us quickly, but help them and give a heads up. Food and drinks are ordered a delivered quickly and accurately. We have been here several times and will continue to frequent Gus’s.

Pizza was good, I wouldn’t order the wings again to greasy and very tiny. Staff were super friendly and the bar seemed to be popular. It is a good spot when you don’t want to cook.
