Dulcesalado is a new and exciting culinary concept, located in the Trópica Boutique Hotel in Ocean Park. You will find dynamic spaces: an ample dining room with a large selection of wines and cocktails, a relaxing exterior patio, a beer garden, and a convenient coffee shop and ice cream parlor.
Carefully selecting local ingredients of the highest quality, Chef Atisha Pascual draws up a delicious gastronomic offer that includes international favorites fused with a Caribbean twist like Papas Bravas a Caballo or Risotto del Campo.

The French toast Cuban sandwich is the kind of creative twist that sounds risky on paper but mostly delivers in execution. Instead of traditional Cuban bread, thick slices of golden French toast cradle the classic fillings — layers of roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard.
What Works ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The French toast is beautifully done: crisp on the outside with a slight caramelized sweetness, soft and custardy inside. That subtle sweetness plays surprisingly well against the salty ham and melty Swiss. The roasted pork is tender and well-seasoned, adding depth and richness without feeling greasy. When pressed, the sandwich holds together nicely, and the cheese melts into every bite.
The sweet-and-savory contrast is the star here. The mustard and pickles cut through the richness, keeping it from becoming too heavy. Each bite hits multiple flavor notes — smoky, tangy, creamy, and just a touch sweet.

Dulcesalado is a Brunch Gem. Only issue is how long it took us to stumble upon this treasure.
The food is flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Perfect mix of sweet and savory options, with generous portions and great coffee. The staff is friendly, and the vibe is laid-back but stylish.
Definitely worth checking out—I’ll be back for sure!

Absolutely amazing!—We loved it so much we went twice in the same day! The gambas al ajillo, croquetas, empanadas, and wines were fantastic in the afternoon, and the pulpo, ribeye with creamy mushroom sauce with truffle parmesan fries at night were unforgettable. A true gem in Puerto Rico!

This place is a vibe. Small spot with knowledgeable and friendly staff in a cozy local neighborhood near the water. The food is very thoughtful and the flavors intentional. Very well balanced and plated as well. So delicious! Cocktails and music were on point. Multiple options for seating, indoor, outdoor or cozy bar seats. We will definitely be back!

A must try if you’re staying near the Santurce district. Dinner was amazing, a lot of delicious cocktails and the appetizers were to die for. Watermelon Sushi isn’t just a weird fad, it’s seriously savory, juicy, and just works together. I had the best steak I ever tasted, complements to the chef. Perfect sear and crust, medium rare, and the mushroom sauce was well balanced. BREAKFAST was really good as well. Hazelnut iced lattes were great. I had the bacon and cheddar pocket with eggs on brioche and it was soooo fluffy and tasty! We might have to go again for both meals just to try some more dishes.

Staying in the hotel and stopped by for dessert. Amazing is an understatement. Christy was our waitress. We had some lovely coffee and my husband had the bread pudding. Both were top notch. I chose the goat cheese flan. Words kind of escape me. It was so rich and delicious I could not leave a bite. I was told that it was the owner’s grandmother’s recipe, and she deserves a sainthood for creating this. It will live in my memory forever.
UPDATE: We went back for dinner and the food was fantastic. We had amazing croquettes, watermelon sushi and the most wonderful fish.

My girlfriend and I had Brunch here during our visit to San Juan and this place blew us away! Some of the best tasting French toast I’ve had in a minute! Also we didn’t like the drink we originally ordered and with no hassle the waitress changed our drinks for us! Amazing service… we for sure will be back when we visit again!

I was expecting more. Its an average brunch at higher price than quality.
Its a normal scramble or omellete or sanwiche…nothing special.
10$ valet parking and no other option to self park.
“House” bottle water 5$
Coffee and beverages 6 to 7$.
Brunch dishes between 18 to 25$.
A croissant with scramble 20$….
Its a nice small place, very good service, but nothing that special to be a 80$ brunch. Its more like a turist hotel breakfast place.

We stopped in for water and coffee after a long walk around the area. The coffee was nice and hot, even though we didn’t have a pastry item they looked delicious.
The staff was nice and friendly and they have both indoor and outdoor seating as well as wifi. We set outdoors and enjoyed the beautiful weather and the passing traffic.
