Storheims family restaurant is a Swedish based restaurant where you can come sit down and enjoy a wonderfully cooked meal for the whole family plus some if needed. You can call ahead and take out our phone number is 906-789-9580. It’s normally not a very long wait for a to-go however if we are a full restaurant we do deserve the right to not take to-go’s, we do apologize ahead of time if that does happen to you. If we stop to-go’s at any time, it doesn’t tend to be for very long 2 hrs maybe? We also have a drive thru pick up window where you can order a take-out however it may have a wait time, at this window you can order custard, get gift certificates and grab your call ahead order. We appreciate your business and hope to serve you soon ❤

Being of Swedish decent I am picky about my Swedish pancakes, they’re good but I prefer my own
With the visit for breakfast for sure!

I stopped in for a take-out meal to have on the road while traveling through the area. They had a very large menu but settled on a pizza for ease of eating while driving. It certainly wasn’t the best pizza I’ve ever had, but the crust was light and airy, and the sauce had good flavor.

Exactly what you would expect from a family restaurant. I got the mini burger and it was the perfect size if you’re not too hungry. My boyfriend got the fried fish sandwich and he said it was good and loved the bread it came on. Sides were fries and onion rings. They were both exactly as expected. Nothing special.
We got the turtle sundae. I would recommend to get it if you have a sweet tooth but also to share it. It’s really a lot.

We wanted to try the Swedish pancakes, which were yummy. It was a popular place so busy and you had to be patient. The cinnamon rolls were yummy but piled with very sweet frosting.

We ordered the Sampler plate to try a bit of everything. The quality was outstanding. The cinnamon bread was delicious. The meatballs were wonderful with a delicious gravy of flavor depth. The Vienna custard dipped French toast stood on its own! The custard gave it an elegant taste. The sausage links were quality and very good. The maple syrup was nice quality. They use Al Johnson lingonberries for the Swedish pancakes and it was a perfect compliment. My 15 year old daughter said it was the best breakfast of her life.
The staff was so friendly and welcoming!

This is great spot for breakfast, and other meals but that’s my favorite here. Swedish meatballs and Swedish pancakes amongst regular items. Great food, good service.

The food is okay, but nothing more. Don’t expect culinary masterpieces; expect simple American cuisine with some Swedish accents.

When I’m through Iron Mountain at breakfast time I seem to always stop at Storheims. Quick service and breakfast is good. I usually get the saffron toast but today I opted for the Struan (Whole wheat). I wasn’t disappointed.
