I’ve been trying to be a bit healthier but still craving my African food! Tried the grilled chicken salad! Very large portions! And when I tell you the chicken was JUICY!!! So good! Also got a side of jollof rice! Super flavorful and a large portion! Very decent prices too!! I will be ordering as much as my wallet allows LOL

Tried the Cassava leaf and chicken Pattie! So delicious! I’m an adopted Liberian and I know my LIB food! This is by FAR the best I’ve had! This lady had a restaurant and bar a few years back and I would drive almost an hour to eat there! I’m so glad she’s back like she never left! Consider me a VIP customer because I want all the food!

The place was amazing. The owner, Abertha, goes to great lengths to keep all ingredients authentic. From traveling all the way up to Minneapolis to get special leaves for one dish, to marinating her fish for over 24 ours just to make sure the flavor sinks in… It really shows. I highly recommend this place. First time trying Liberian food, and most certainly won’t be the last.

This is one of the best African restaurant I’ve ever been to. The lady who prepared the food is super nice and very knowledgeable on food. By the way, she make the best juice I’ve ever taste. I will definitely go back again and most definitely recommend to anyone who is in KS/MO border cities. It’s worth a drive

I came for Italian pasta, but I left with African pasta, lol. The other restaurant closed early for the night and instead of allowing me to just leave they began giving me samples. Their service was amazing, both Ms. Abertha & Florence went above and beyond. They are truly kind. They even gave me an extremely delicious tea complimentary upon bringing my food to the car!! I will be back, thanks so much ladies. ❤️

The food was absolutely outstanding — a perfect 10/10. Every dish was rich in flavor and featured all my personal favorites. The service was seamless and highly accommodating; they worked around my schedule, which I really appreciated. I expected the food to be cold by the time I got home, but it arrived hot, fresh, and ready to enjoy. I was so impressed that I placed a second order. I’ll definitely be returning.

This was just a great experience overall. The customer service was great as well. Walking in and seeing a smiling face greeting me makes me feel like I came to the right place. The food was delicious and at a good price and the container had a nice weight to it. Also received a free beverage that tasted great as well. This is how you keep customers coming back. Ordered twice in the same day. My bestfriend had to have her own. Will definitely be back! 5/5 for me. I always read reviews lol so I had to keep it real!

We have eaten at many African restaurants in many different areas of the country. This is the best we have had anywhere. The owner is amazing. The food is cooked quickly compared to other African restaurants. We went back the next day to try additional items on the menu. Everyone should try this food!
