This is what I call my food treasure. I have been coming here for many many years and I promise you that it has never disappointed me. Located in the heart of Union city NJ, ran by amazing women, their service is great and the food is whole and fresh. Don’t only take my words for it, please go and taste the food yourself. I always go for the fish and it’s so fresh and delicious.

I have tried their chivo guisado, yuca encebollada, and their carne de res a la parrilla, and absolutely loved it. The food is delicious and their prices affordable. Highly recommend. Will come back for sure.

I visited Juani Gloria with high hopes, but unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. I ordered a cake and, noticing that the cakes for $5 were quite small, I politely asked the staff member if I could get the biggest one available. To my surprise, instead of a helpful response, I was snapped at with an attitude, told that all the cakes were the same size, and that there was no difference between them.
It’s frustrating to be treated this way, especially when you’re simply trying to make sure you’re getting your money’s worth. The cakes are overpriced for their size, and the service was far from friendly. I expected a lot more for the price and from a business with a reputation like this. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. The cakes are ridiculously overpriced for their tiny size, and the service was unprofessional and downright rude. It’s clear that customer satisfaction isn’t a priority here. I won’t be coming back, and I strongly suggest others avoid this place if they value decent service or a fair price.

I’ve been coming to Juani Gloria for many years, and I have to say I’m truly disappointed with how much the quality has dropped. Recently, I ordered an oatmeal juice, and it tasted like it was expired. When I mentioned it, the staff told me “that’s how we make it” but honestly, it just tasted off, like spoiled.
Some of the food might still be okay, but when it comes to desserts and drinks, I personally wouldn’t order again. It’s sad to see a place I used to enjoy decline this much.
