I ordered Vegas roll and by the time I got back to my hotel in Lehi I noticed that my roll was burnt. As you can see it looks nothing like a roll. I called and told them and they told me I would have to bring the roll back to get refunded. I told them that is 30 minutes away and that I can send them a picture. They said no. They said in order to refund I would need to bring it back. After some back and forth she contacted her boss and stated that she would come and grab it. Once she confirmed what it looked like she would then see about refunding me. I waited and no one grabbed it. Great service . Years ago used to be alright food. Definitely pure garbage.

After that I called you all and was advised BS (just like your comment below) Do not try to tell me what you think when you never tasted it yourself or saw it for yourself. Your food is disgusting. Teriyaki does not look or taste like that. But BURNT food does.

Take out orders are always wrong, they NEVER include sweet and sour sauce with sweet and sour orders, they send s&s chicken instead of pork, and when I order (delivery or dine in) shrimp with vegetables, I am given shrimp and vegetable tempura, even when I clarify shrimp with vegetables in the sauce. 9 out of 10 times the order is wrong. The food is good but we cannot justify spending this kind of money at a place that doesn’t seem to care if your order is right or not and they have NEVER reached out to make it right. Don’t bother with the take out comment section. I ordered 2 bento boxes today and they offer soup OR salad. I said soup and got both. I also said NO plastic utensils or fortune cookies and got both. Seriously, it’s terrible service

I love Fortune Cookie, however, the food sucked! The veggie fried rice was burnt, and the manager took it off. I am so disappointed in the veggie kung poa too. The fortune cookies were great. I have never had “horrible” anything from them until now. I really hope it’s a chef/staff just having a bad day. I’m not sure if I will be back anytime soon. I am kinda leary now to spend that much on food, and it sucks.

I thought tonight we would switch it up and get Chinese food from our favorite place. We called and asked for delivery they said it’s new management we dont deliver you have to use doordash! So called back to put in a pick up order and they didn’t answer the phone so I stopped in. There was 3 tables full and 2 guys in front of me in the line. Doordash was going off the phone was ringing constantly. The guy behind the counter helped the one guy and then the other guy in line said hes placing his order online. And then ignored me forever kept passing me up. So I finally said are you gonna help me or continue to ignore me. So he said im sorry I thought you were with the other guy in line. Nope I wasn’t. So I placed my order he told me 45 minutes . Okay no problem. I waited 28 which isnt terrible. But my spicy rice tasted like bad oil my beef and broccoli was okay. Beef had no flavor but my broccoli was yummy it was swimming in sauce so made my rice taste better . My sushi rolls were hot becuz they were placed on top of my hot food. I get people ear out on news years eve but they were understaffed and not ready for the night… not sure if I’ll return 50 bucks is alot of money for something that wasn’t even great and crappy service. Hopefully new management figures it out quickly.

This place has really gone downhill since changing owners. Their servers now barely understand English enough to get an order correct. AVOID! Make the drive to Tokyo Tower in SLC or Tsunami instead. GIVE THIS PLACE BACK TO THE ORIGINAL OWNERS.

I ordered via doordash and was shocked at how bad this food tatses i mean so bad i wont order again. tasted like a frozen meal for restraunt price. general tso is just gross such a weird texture breading leaking into the chicken made it taste like eating the stuff you find in a pillow, nigiri was falling apart and the salmon tasted old, and the wasabi looked like it was growing mold. angel hair noodles gross, the thicker noodles tasted good. orange chicken tasted good but its hard to mess that up. crispy beef good flavor but hardly any beef tasted like they took out the beef part and left skin. hate to be critical but something needs to change im not the only one leaving 1 star it sounds like new managment is running this place to the ground cause it has a 4.1 star rating but all the recent reviews are 1 stars

Fortune Cookie use to be our go to place. We would go a couple times a month spending well over $100 everytime we went. Birthdays, date nights, or just a night out with family. The staff was phenomenal, the atmosphere was great. We hadn’t been for a minute with the holidays. We made our way in, the atmosphere was nothing like it used to be. All new staff. We got seated and the male server looked like a chicken with his head cut off. My dad was in the middle of giving his order and the guy literally stopped mid ordering handed the notebook off to his mom who doesn’t understand English to go answer the phone. The poor mother initially walked off and we had to call her back over to finish taking our order. She had to copy the menu down for what we were ordering because she was struggling. The female waitress there looked super uncomfortable you could tell she was trying but she was bouncing to all the tables and seemed super confused on who,what and where. The guy making the sushi rolls that dropped them off to our table didn’t seem to understand when we were asking for a refill for our child’s drink he waved his hand like he was telling us no. The egg drop soup came out and there were noodles and corn in it. It didn’t look right. My son refused to eat it. The sushi tasted like there was soap on it. My dad ordered a beef teriyaki bento box. The beef was so dry and there was almost no teriyaki sauce. We had ordered the fried potstickers and only 4 come out. I had to point out that it was supposed to be 8 as we ordered those frequently. They don’t seem to know the menu. The final straw for me was when the guy server brought the ticket to our table. We paid and finished choking down the food because we didn’t want to waste it. While we were talking the mother brings another check to us which we told her we already received the check and handed back the little black book with payment back to them. They brought the receipt back and while we were having a conversation the guy that brought us the check then comes back with the bill again. We told him we had already paid. 10 minutes later the female server brings us the bill again. We again informed her that we had already paid and she walked away. We were finishing up our conversation with family and the guy brings another bill and I finally was irritated enough and said you already brought us the bill, we already paid it. They repeatedly came over to try and give us the bill 4 times over but not once did they check on us or refill drinks without us having to ask for it. I am not sure what happened but the old owners and staff need to come back or I anticipate that place will be closed soon.

We have been going to Fortune Cookie since 2007 when they first opened. They have been our favorite Chinese food restaurant for 18 years. I’m not sure if they recently changed ownership, but we went tonight and it was horrible. Egg drop soup now has noodles in it and is nowhere as good as it was before. We loved their potstickers! Those were horrible too. Just tasted like oil. Got 2 sushi rolls as well. The fish tasted awful. We are so disappointed that this place has gone so far downhill

I love this place. The steamed dumpling are wonderful and so is the sushi. It was fresh with NO fishy taste. They watiress was very nice.
