Good food for the price. I like it because they give you fry sauce, at Culvers they make you buy it. (Its the little things, but I dislike getting nickeled and dimed).
Similar to Culver, but better food.
My only complaint is the ice cream machines are very loud, its better to eat outside when its warm. It may be part of the charm that they make ice cream on site, but ideally they’d figure out a way to make it less loud, its hard to have a conversation.

I almost didn’t go here thinking it’s a custard only location. After reviewing others, decided the name threw me off. Such a delightful place with their art deco 1940s feel. The atmosphere was great and the food was amazing. The service was professional, helpful and downright super nice. The down side, it was colder than Hoth, Since I left my light Saber at home and TaunTauns do not live on this planet, we decided to eat at the park. Still we will go back again!

This is the second time I’ve had a really poor experience here. I sat in the drive-through for over 10 minutes waiting for a premade frozen custard. Not a shake. Not a custom order. Just a premade item.
No communication, no checking in, no explanation. I finally had to ask if someone could open the window because I had been sitting there so long.
The product itself is fine, but the service is consistently inattentive and slow, especially for something that’s supposed to be quick and already made. If you’re advertising convenience, the execution needs to match.

This is a nice place for a good burger and fries. The view is awesome the the service is great! Nice atmosphere that has a feel for the 50’s . The place is clean and the staff are friendly. You can dine inside or outside on a nice evening. Especially if you have kids that need to run around. It has a playground as well. Great burger joint! Also, the custard is delicious!

It has a gorgeous view to look at as you eat your food! My fries were great (as well as my fry sauce ). The cheeseburger was subpar, but the custard was fantastic! I realized as I got to my next destination that I hadn’t received my dr. Pepper. But that was also partly my fault, I could’ve noticed before I left that I hadn’t received it.
The staff were very friendly. Overall, good experience.

I was so excited to get a Nielsen’s Frozen Custard right by my house. My daughter got the Grilled Ham and Cheese. I may or may not have parent taxed a section of it. The meat is sliced fresh daily and is totally worth it. Next time, I think I might have to get that. The onion rings were my favorite. I got the Diner Burger, my son got the cheeseburger kids meal and my husband got the Spicy Italian Grinder. It was a great meal. The facility was nice and clean. The prices were just right. It’s fun to watch the Frozen Custard being made at the front. They have tons of different add ins. We had to treat ourselves. I got the the Bumbleberry FC topper (raspberry & strawberry mixed). We also had an Oreo concrete shake and a raspberry chocolate concrete shake. We will definitely be coming back to try more food and frozen Custard options. The staff was very friendly and eager to serve.

We go to the Nelson’s in Millcreek regularly and LOVE it. Super nice staff, always a great experience. Decided to try this location (7617 S. Nielsens Park Ln, West Jordan) and will not be returning. The menu isn’t clear on size portions and there’s no option for cups + 1-3 scoops. When I inquired they didn’t answer my question, only told me the price of a small concrete and the speaker was so loud at the drive through you couldn’t hardly make out the words being spoken, and it hurt your ears. Also. What ice cream shop doesn’t have sprinkles? All we wanted was vanilla with strawberries and sprinkles. Super disappointing. We let the cashier at the window know of the speaker problem, she ignored short of “oh”. I followed it up with, I omit you might not be the one to fix it, but maybe pass the word on. She ignored me, mentioned the total & then took my payment. We then waited 5+ minutes for 2 small ice creams. Over all terrible experience.

I was so surprised it wasn’t busy on a Friday night. We went through the drive through and got all our food super quick too. You definitely need to try the Ironport soda they mix in-house. The workers were insanely friendly

The young man at the register is lacking in customer service tonight . I ordered a junior grilled cheese meal , when he brought out the drinks he forgot the drink with the kids meal , he then brings out the food , the kids meal didnt have the fries and the grilled cheese was loaded with onions .. I asked a different employee about the issue and he went back to the cooks and they did make new food , but honestly it was to late .
Those kids working tonight were ridiculous, complaining about thier and wages infront of guests… terrible service.
