Recently most of the local pizza places have been very disappointing. I decided to give this location a shot tonight. So glad I did, James and Ezra absolutely hit a walk off grand slam. This was a 7.5 one bite hands down! Crispy pepperoni and No Flop, great crust! The best $9 carry out pizza in west knox.

Still the best pizza in town, but the service has really gone downhill! I’ve been a customer for years and have never had trouble until tonight. I needed pizza for a Halloween party tonight and placed an order around 5:30 pm with an estimated delivery time of 6:05, plenty of time before the party. Around 6, the online tracker stopped updating, so I thought my order must be arriving soon. I went outside to greet the driver, as my house is hard to see and sometimes drivers miss it. 6:05 came and went, no pizza. I figure it’s fine, long as it arrives by 6:30 I have time to get ready before the party starts. Finally around 6:25, I got a text saying that a DoorDash driver was on the way. I didn’t get my pizza until around 7, 1.5 hours after ordering. Had I not had an event, I might not have minded the long delivery time, but I was nearly late for my Halloween party because of it!

I’ve been trying to give this particular establishment chance after chance, BUT the 3rd time is always a charm. I didn’t receive my order and waiting over an hour after placing the order, for the order to either never show up or the “address” is wrong, (Which it wasn’t) even had a manager say they would fully refund us and delivery the order themselves and 1 of the 2 of those happened which was the manager showing up but never received anything for the terrible delivery service or what may have come up on their end. I definitely enjoy the food there but I’m tired of the orders not showing up, as well as not even calling to get more information IF needed which honestly you can’t place an order without a proper address which is why I’m a bit frustrated and at this point. I’d honestly say go to a different location. In any other states/ cities I’ve visited Marco’s I’ve never had an issue, until this one.

Ordered large pizza and breadsticks. Breadsticks were hard as a rock and not consumable at all. Pizza tasted like cardboard and apparently it was too much to ask to put the requested bacon on my pizza. Customer service wasnt great either.

Ordered 3 items for delivery. Took nearly 2 hours to receive it was so cold. Didnt receive the ranch or nothing that i was charged for. The pizzoli was literal all bread with 3 pepperoni and 2 pieces of sausage. The dough wasnt even cooked all the way. The wings were absolutely gross and cold. I couldnt not be more disappointed after i had Ordered food a couple days ago. The best pizza and cheese bread I’ve ever had. That’s why I ordered again. I will not ever again.

8:34 I get an update that pizza is FINALLY on it’s way. 8:39 phone rings to notify us they don’t have the 2 liter of Pepsi that we ordered. (I thought it was on its way already?!) We expressed our frustration so Guy on phone says he’ll adjust our order then hangs up. 8:58 pizza is delivered. Still full price. $38.81 for Cold pizza, Cold cheese bread Entire order was Cold. Dry. Tasted terrible to be honest which was disappointing as we liked Marcos before.
We are 1.5 miles from their store. I allowed roommate to use my vehicle for work thinking we were safe to order pizza delivery for dinner. My daughter wouldn’t even eat it.
I hate to be THAT customer. But I’m really getting tired of laziness in these places. I’ve worked food service, bartending, even managed a Pizza shop straight out of high school. I didn’t expect things for free. However, I do expect making things right.
$39 for 1 large pizza, 1 order of Cheese bread and a 2 liter for the food to be clearly as old as the tracker stated. In oven by 7:46 and delivered and hour after out of the oven 1.5 miles from the store?! Not even an adjustment on our pricing?
Do better. Don’t over promise and underdeliver, literally. If it’s gonna be longer, just say that? Waiting on delivery driver to get back? Don’t put it in oven right away? So many things can be done to mitigate better customer experience.

We used to order from this location weekly, but have been so disappointed to see both the food and service decline since re-opening. We ordered online at 439p, quoted delivery was 509p. Order was delivered at 525, no problem. We quickly discovered our large specialty pizza was a one topping. I called and was told they’d deliver a replacement. Perfect! 10 minutes later received another call that we’d need to show the incorrect pizza to the delivery driver when she arrived. Again, no problem, I had a photo with receipt. Over 90 minutes later, still no replacement. I called and held for 14 minutes. When JR answered he told me that the kitchen was waiting on US TO DRIVE TO THE STORE WITH THE WRONG PIZZA, which is not what we had agreed on. At this point we had waited over 2.5 hours for our order. I asked for a refund, which was granted and is the only reason this is a 2 star review. Now I’m off to find dinner for two hungry boys. :/

I ordered pizza and a 24oz Starry from Marcos Pizza via DoorDash for pick up. When I arrived I was greeted as I entered the store. My pizza was hot and ready. The store had apparently run out of 24oz bottles of Starry, so the employee gave me a 2 liter bottle instead and held the door open for me as I left. The BBQ chicken pizza was well made, perfectly cooked, hot and delicious. The customer service I received at Marcos was exceptional and the pizza was very good. You’ll not go wrong ordering here.

Good pizzas and service was good. Just Happened to be there at the worst time and the lot or the store aren’t very big so it produced a little problem but all in all it’s an excellent place for grabbing a quick pizza. I’ll be back for sure.
