Showed up at 4:50 pm for brisket and chicken tenders with my family (wife, aunt, son, grandma) to find out they have no brisket and no chicken tenders. First time coming here so that’s a major disappointment to say the least…..
As far as the food, well…. Ribs lacked flavor and they were dry and thin, my grandma claimed her chicken was also dry. My macaroni and cheese was bland and flavorless as well.
Also pay in cash so you can avoid the 4% credit/debit card transaction fee. Also want to mention that the banana pudding was honestly really good.
Mac and cheese wasn’t able to be finished by me either. My aunt spit it out when she tried it and so did my wife. So you need to revamp this mac and cheese as in make sure it’s smokier and has more. Also it needs to be much more creamier as well. The flavor was honestly non-existent and it felt like I was eating some leftover next day macaroni and cheese that was in the refrigerator then put in the microwave to reheat. No matter what kind of condiments were on the table there was no doctoring this up.

Went here with my family on Sept 20th to take a break during my birthday fishing trip with my family on the St.Croix, we all agreed BBQ sounded good to us so we went here. The food was delicious and what little time we had to wait we talked with the extremely friendly staff who seemed to enjoy the conversation just as we did. I had Mac and Cheese with ribs and it was delicious! Definitely a place ya gotta try if ur exploring the St.Croix

Excellent ribs at Sir Smoke A Lot’s BBQ. I had lunch here today for the first time, and they have some of the best ribs I have ever had. Fantastic bark and a very tasty smoke flavor. The BBQ sauce that came on the side was some of the best house made sauce I’ve had. Coleslaw and smoked mac n cheese sides were great as well. Great customer service. They have tap beer too

Stopped by on a Saturday night before a comedy show at the restored Historic Auditorium and we were pleased with our choice! Many items were no longer available @5:45 or so when we arrived, so I’d recommend coming earlier if possible. We had the 6 rib combo with cheesy mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The ribs were amazing and didn’t need any sauce – we never even reached for it. The coleslaw tasted fresh and what’s not to like with cheese on anything as far as the potatoes went. Pay with cash to save 4%!
Overall it was a good experience, with friendly staff and the food arrived very quickly. Cute decor too!

To piggyback off my Moms review of this place. Again like she said we parked to snap a quick picture and grab some food. Your parking lot was completely empty that day. So much so your business looked closed. Now it is your right to ask us to leave but the professionalism is what matters. Your employee was completely out of line and that’s why you now have 2 bad reviews. Happy Holidays

Local BBQ place serving all the fixin’s. Fair price good portions and smiling staff. With options of bbq staples. The pulled pork was very tasty and so we’re their sides like the cheesed mashed potatoes and banana pudding. Makes you wanna come back for sure.

UPDATE : Stopped at the new location and loved the decor and wasn’t disappointed by the food! Love to see how much they’ve grown and a GREAT location. Stopped in for a bite with the wife and was pleased to see the look of the place. We had Pulled Pork,Brisket and Burnt Ends and corn muffins Cornbread a little dry but that would be really my only complaint. Was sorry to see them run out of items.
Definitely looking forward to eating here again!

We had them cater our wedding on 8/23/25 and wow! Food was so great! All the guests raved about it and said it was so good and so much flavor! The kids obviously loved the smoked Mac n cheese! I myself having celiac (sever gluten allergy) could eat everything except the bun and the Mac n cheese and it was all delicious! They were so kind and felt like we have known them forever. We could not have asked for better service and better food! Thank you Sir smoked a lot it was amazing!

Well to start, we ordered our food and got our drink glass. I went to get my beverage and a giant bug come out of the line directly into my glass. I mentioned it to staff and they were aware that the pop machine is obviously dirty if bugs are coming out of the lines. Instead of putting out of service and cleaning it a group of people came in and all used the machine. As far as the food it was extremely bland flavorless BBQ. No smoke ring on the brisket and the ribs were completely flavorless. I definitely will not be coming back.
