This restaurant has the BEST food in the area.
Amazing homemade pasta and sauces.
Salads are unique , fresh, filling and hit the spot if you’re in a salad mood.
Can we talk BRICK OVEN PIZZA!. You won’t find a better selection of pizza around. Fire baked and we just love them.
Crab cakes, shrimp and steaks . You will find just what your mouth is craving and we have never had anything less than perfect and satisfying.
Nice clean dining room restaurant, good date night place, but also comfortable enough with rooms for large groups and family dinning tables.
They have only been open a year and are a rising star in our town. Whether passing through , living close by and looking for a place for a good meal our family recommends 528 Italian American .

528 Italian in a true gem! My husband and I, along with my sisters had AN AMAZING meal. EVERYTHING is fresh/scratch made, in house. The drinks, appetizers, pizza, bread and entrées were phenomenal. Thank you Tony and staff for a wonderful experience. WE WILL BE BACK SOON!

Stopped in one evening a couple weeks ago on the way back from Fredericksburg. They were slammed. I ordered some mozzarella sticks and the pictured pasta. It was extremely good. The service was quick even being slammed, the food was amazing. If I’m ever back in the area I would definitely stop in.

We came for a nice drink and left feeling amazing and full! My husband and I were greeted by the owner and he even served us since the dining room was busy. The starting bread and oil was light but very savory. He recommended the seafood lasagna on special and it was phenomenal, easily the best dish we’ve had in this whole area! The steaks are always so flavorful and cooked exactly to order as well, my favorite the surf & tour that comes with the best grilled shrimp. Highly recommend and will be back.

The food was excellent as well as the service. I got the brick oven meat lovers pizza. The pizza had great flavor and was cooked perfectly. Jordan, my server was great, she was attentive and friendly. I definitely recommend and I will be back.

We had Anniversary reservations for 530 Friday night. Hostess was frazzled but efficient. They were out of Tomahawk steaks, ( which is why we went) I thought that was crazy because it was early. We got the seafood appetizer and it was fabulous! Super large amount and cooked to perfection! We each got a side salad, the 10 oz steaks with roasted potatoes. The salads were small for the price and you could tell they had sat out for awhile. The balsamic dressing was on point! The steaks were ok but the flavor was hidden by some sort of glaze. I didnt care for it at all. But it was my fault because I evidently didnt read the description on the menu. They both were cooked as we requested. The roasted potatoes were absolutely horrible not to mention we each only got a few. Our server was the best! She tried so hard to make it a great night for our special occasion. We made sure to tip really well! There were bread plates on the table but no bread. The meal was mediocre at best, which was disappointing because it was outta the world when they first opened. We spent about 120 bucks and it wasn’t worth it
To top it off some intoxicated lady from the bar kept coming over to look at our food. I know this wasnt the restaurant’s fault but she was obviously over her limit and became bothersome to others as well. Maybe next time cut her off?! We will think twice about coming back.

My initial experience at this establishment was exceptional. I opted for the Seafood Pasta, accompanied by a glass of Moscato. The combination was truly remarkable and delectable. The staff exhibited exceptional professionalism and friendliness, creating an atmosphere that made me feel as though I had been a regular patron. The owner, Tony, further enhanced the dining experience by personally greeting each customer and occasionally making an appearance at the table to ensure their satisfaction. This level of attentiveness is not commonly found in contemporary restaurants. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment and will return to enjoy its offerings. The hour-long drive was well worth it.

My husband and I had dinner and the food was, unique. He ordered wings for his appetizer and I had ordered the Carrot and walnut soup.
He said the wings were regretfully middling, I found the soup to be very good and light on the stomach.
For our entrees, my husband ordered the spaghetti and meatballs while I had the pears and gorganzola moneybags. Although the meatballs were impressive,
He said the spaghetti sauce tasted as though it came straight out of a can and was unable to finish his plate.
I found the pear and gorganzole moneybags to be an acquired taste. Gorganzola paired with nuts and a light fruit like grapes or apple slices makes for a wonderfully snack, however in this dish it was an odd amalgamation of flavors and textures in disharmony, that while tolerable to a mature palate, would be considered unappetizing to the vast majority. The gorganzola overpowered the pear and even with the walnut adding texture, the grittiness of the pear reared its head with very little sweetness to tame the tang of gorganzola. Order with caution.
Overall service was immaculate and while the dining area appeared very clean, the bathrooms were not in decent condition.

We love this restaurant. The food is authentic Italian, always made fresh and delicious. We moved to the area from NJ where there was no shortage of great Italian food, and 528 Italian stands up to the best of them. I think the red sauce is the best I’ve ever had. We also asked them to prepare some to-go catering trays for us recently for the holidays. Tony, the owner graciously agreed, and went above and beyond to make everything delicious and perfect. He was even able to provide an amazing Tiramisu from a great bakery in Fredericksburg. I can’t say enough nice things about this place. I am so glad we found it!
