I went there for Happy Hour on a friday and I was able to find a seat at the bar. It was fairly busy. The place is super cute, there’s a garden patio like area where the tables where with a huge tree in the center.

The Happy Hour red wine was $8 a glass and a decent pour. The oysters were good. Nothing special about them, they were fresh. The croquettes were delish! You can’t really go wrong with fried battered potatoes balls, and the aoli complimented the croquettes well. Now for the newer dish, that was tuna tartar and the server asked for my feedback and I was honest, also he kind of warned me about the presentation. It tasted good, or fine. I think that’s scrambled eggs on top? Anywho, it looked like canned tuna, it obviously isn’t and didn’t taste like that. I recommended adding some microgreens for some color and texture. I did love the idea of shrimp chips vs the typical wontons so that was impressive. I’ll have to come back for lunch or try their HH burger, it’s worth it since it’s only $12. Fries sold separately.

Petite.

Not even have a lobby, but I love this type of French style.

I loved my seating. No body bothered one another. Sometimes through arranging the seats, you can tell a waitress’s intelligence. I loved my blue corner especially when the sun was out.

Simple breakfast to start a great day. Nothing could be better than this.

It is not 5 star, but really satisfied me.

Like this place!

Simonette is located inside the Pali Hotel.
I enjoy the typical Pali hotel crowd. This location, being in Culver City tends to have more of an after office tech worker crowd.

The happy hour is a great deal!
I had the Burger Americain. Just the classic American style burger .. 2 thick patties, the mayo sauce, the cheese, the onion. It was very satisfying. It was 1/2 price of regular menu. $9 only for happy hour!

Fries was $5!

On menu are also a $7 wine, $8 cocktail of the day – a margarita that day.

Fabulous offering!

I will certainly come back!

One more thing. Parking is a beotchh on the streets around it. Unless you valet. Best is to park in the mall parking or the parking behind Trader Joe’s – 1st hour free.

Had the Parisienne Burger at Simonette during happy hour ($10). Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly messy in the best way. It’s everything you want in a burger. The sesame bun was soft yet sturdy, and the sauce-to-meat ratio was spot on. Great vibes on the patio too. Highly recommend stopping by for this deal. it’s a steal for the quality

We had a truly delightful experience at this charming French restaurant. Despite a couple of minor imperfections — a stained napkin and a small hair found in one of the dishes — the overall quality and atmosphere were exceptional.

The food was simply outstanding. Our server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, recommending a dish that turned out to be absolutely delicious. And the French onion soup? That was a 10 out of 5. I was genuinely blown away.

The taste instantly brought me back to my trip to Paris — the last time I was there, I was 14 years old, and it’s been 14 years since. That familiar, authentic flavor was exactly as I remembered it. It was a nostalgic and emotional culinary moment I didn’t expect — and won’t forget.

Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for real, soul-touching French cuisine and warm, welcoming service.

It is right in downtown QRO. It has cool vibes inside the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and supportive. The language was an issue but somehow managed it. Guacamole was the best part of everything. The overall food quality is good but it’s little bland.

There is no parking next to the restaurant however nearby street parking is available.

Had lunch there on a Saturday afternoon. Valet parking was already full, and it took us a while to find street parking, because the majority of streets in this neighborhood are permit parking only. We had the croquettes, gem salad, moules frites and the Parisian burger. Overall ok, but nothing exceptional. Recommend stopping by if in the area, but wouldn’t make a special trip for it.

Had a great time here last night for happy hour. The courtyard seating and bar is all open air, and it’s so lovely.

Our server was fantastic. One of the things that most impressed me: my friend asked if they have mocktails, and our server asked for some flavors she likes in drinks. Then she had the bar make a custom mocktail based on my friend’s preferences. Quite a service differentiator! When my friend ordered a second one, they offered to make a new custom one. She loved both.

The fries were served piping hot and they were deliciously seasoned.

My American burger was HUGE and mouth-watering good.

I’d skip the tapenade next time–I prefer a chunkier tapenade where I can control the portion.

All in all, a great spot for happy hour.

Food was not as warm as I would like it…. apple dessert tasted burned :(. Service was great. The valet was easy … No credit cards outside just cash :). $17 for parking plus tips :). More to say?

Taking place at Palihotel, Simonette clearly delivered that classic elegant brunch vibe. Bit of feeling teleported into a French cafe, making it perfect spot for chillin’ weekend brunch with my friends.

Scoring more wins, the foods were also palatable. Some of us went for their Americaine burger which came in pretty filling portions, especially as it’s also served with generous fries (you could open for salad substitution as well!). My friends who opted for it said the patty was juicy and the sauce was flavorful.

I was more of the dainty side, picking their Steak Tartare Crostone, which was surprisingly not as light as I thought. Abundantly served steak tartare on top of a slice of sourdough with a hint of truffle. Simple yet doubtlessly delicate choice!

More speedy service could make it deserve the fifth star 🙂
