The staff here are very friendly and welcoming, but I am disappointed with the way my ice cream has been packaged. This has been an issue for quite a while but most recently I purchased a quart and a pint on separate occasions. On both occasions both containers were noticeably underfilled.
My husband took the quart back after he opened it when we got home and was told they “go by weight, not by filling the container.” When I asked about the pint, I was told it’s just 3 scoops. While I understand the explanation, as a customer, it’s frustrating to pay for a quart or pint and not see the container filled the way you’d expect. Most ice cream shops manage to both weigh and properly fill their containers, so this feels a bit misleading.
Again, the employees are kind and will fix the issue if we bring it to their attention, but we are hesitant to return due to this as they are incredibly pricy for what you’re buying.

Absolutely love Morgan Dairy Bar! The ice cream is always so fresh and delicious, but what really makes this place special are the employees. Hannah and Daisy were both amazing — super friendly, patient, and went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience. You can tell they really care about their customers. I’ll definitely be coming back soon — highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

I use to visit this place but tonight was different they have brownies displayed in a glass container within reach of customers offering a warm country family setting which I thought was a nice touch for a small community…..but even friendly animals bite so I found out… I removed the cover because they were bust started to get a brownie and was met with you can’t do that because of cleanliness rules and regulations like I was some stray dog off the street I understand health codes but to be treated this way when it is within reach just shows me what the world has come to now no more southern hospitality or charm left anymore….that’s what is wrong with this world everybody is so closed minded and want to throw rules and regulations at people instead of being family and friends oriented I will never visit this outfit again and by reading some of the reviews I see others are displeased as well if you are so concerned about rules and regulations here is a thought take the tray ND place it behind the counter and maybe wrap those shirts and sweatshirts up as well to keep everybody from touching them place everything for your financial gain behind lock and key don’t just bend the rules how you see fit do it business style or customer style don’t pick and choose……

I love this little ice cream shop!!! The staff is always friendly and smiling. You’re always greeted warmly and quickly. We like to sit inside and play checkers while we eat ice cream we we love our little town and we hope places like this stay open for a long time.

Im very proud to say this place takes care of its workers and customers by keeping cleanliness a standard. Its incredibly strange that someone complained about not being able to get their own brownie when that’s clearly not allowed anywhere. I’m very proud of the worker who let him know that isn’t allowed. 10/10 best shakes/ice cream

don’t go here if you don’t want to be fat shamed. I went in and an employee was talking to a customer about a lady in the drive through and kept commenting on her weight and how she shouldn’t eat here and just go to macdonalds. it was extremely rude and I don’t plan on going back to this ice cream shop. and the other employees was on their phones the whole time and not helping customers. I definitely don’t recommend.

Just came by with my grandson to get ice cream on the way to see my Mom. I ordered a strawberry sundae, a banana split and my grandson got 2 scoops of Oreo ice cream in a cup. As we were paying my grandson politely asked the girl with glasses how they made the Oreo ice cream. Her reply was “I don’t know, I don’t make it” I understand that she’s basically a child herself but would it have been so hard to say “Someone crushes the cookies and mixes it with vanilla ice cream?” I guess talking to the young man behind the counter about coffee was more important than being courteous to a paying customer, especially if it’s a 7 yr old child. I won’t be back and I discourage anyone with small children NOT to visit here. Also my Mother said that the walnuts on her sundae were stale and there were barely any strawberries. This place USED to be great
