Only gave 3 stars because some of their games were broken and kept just taking my money. I hit a jackpot on a few different games and the machine didn’t even pay out. When I told the cracked out attendant about it she brushed it off and said the jack pot didn’t work on that machine and that it was broken.

Visited for dinner on day 5 of Ragbrai 2024.
I asked about their vegetarian options, and they said they’d make a pizza for me.
It ended up really good, but unexpected, because one of their veggie toppings is sauerkraut.
It wasn’t bad, just unusual.
Very friendly staff to, they took very good care of their guests considering how busy it got since Ragbrai was in town that evening.

Living in Nebraska. They don’t have Happy Joe’s anymore unfortunately. So my daughter was in New ulm Minnesota and they froze a couple pizzas for me. It was delicious. It brings back a lot of memories. Thank you.

Best taco pizza in the world in my opinion. We don’t live in the area so can’t have it enough. But anytime I end up in this area I’ll be coming for a Taco pizza. It has been 23 years since I had last had one and the pizza was still just as good as I remember. I’ve talked about it all those years and now my kids understand why I complain about other taco pizzas not being very good. This is the best.

I always stop in when I’m in town. Vintage restaurant with top-quality pizza! Happy Joes has been feeding me since mid 80’s. It’s still my all-time favorite. Taco Pizza never disappointed…great staff here!

Just stopped in for a quick bite and Payton helped us. Amazing service and amazing food! Asked Payton to accidentally leave my pizza in for an extra minute and it was cooked to PERFECTION. Service in most places have gone down hill but not here! Payton was super friendly and helpful! Thank you!! Definitely coming back!

Tonight my wife ordered a sandwich, brownie, and a small pizza for delivery. There were a couple small black ants crawling on her sandwich, the bottom of the brownie was burnt, and I found two 5-6 inch hairs in my pizza. The quality of food and service at this location has been declining for several years but this is the first time I felt strongly enough about the food to give a review.

Unsanitary conditions, employees don’t wear gloves at all after using restroom and touching her hair. Not using sanitizer solution to keep space clean. Lots of cross contamination. Pizza served on cold trays, dropping food temp by service time.

We stopped here during a bike event, RAGBRAI & they had a pizza, salad and more buffet going. The staff was so much help and the food was amazing! The pizza variety is awesome! Dessert pizza was a good end to all the amazing food
