Me and my wife were visiting uncle Charles in Charlottesville. He took us to this amazing place Bambu dumpling house. We ordered Tonkatsu Ramen, General T’so chicken, Vegetables dumplings, and Rice Noodle. Omg, everything is so delicious, even the bubble tea is decent. Counter service was great too, staffs were very polite. Definitely hope we have a restaurant like that near our house.

Talk about being transported to my childhood in New York City with their phenomenal dim sum. Perfectly steamed dim sum and oh so fresh. And the takoyaki was delightful too! The flavor is authentic and absolutely worth the price. I’m beyond thrilled for this delicious new place so close to us!
We ordered the (ha cao) shrimp crystal dumplings, the pork and shrimp shumai, and the takoyaki octopus balls to start, with traditional Hong Kong style (mild) wonton noodle soup for me and Japanese shoyu pork ramen for my hubby. I could hardly wait to get home as the food smelled amazing from the takeaway bag.
My hubby devoured his shoyu ramen. The jammy eggs were exactly as they should be, the pork decadent, the noodles springy, and the broth balanced and hearty. I also enjoyed my very mild by contrast traditional wonton noodle soup, which was as I expected and I added some dumpling sauce to it to bring out the delicate flavors. Tasty wontons too!
The bright, cheerful, welcoming ambiance created a great atmosphere. There were already 3 groups dining in and 2 folks in line ahead of us. And still very spacious the way the seating area was laid out. The line moved very quickly too. The owners greeted me and immediately recognized me from my engagement with their social media. They’re so friendly and warm, taking a few moments to chat with me. Their menu is clearly displayed on two screens on the wall and is easy to read.
No boba yet but they should have it available in a few days or so. We can’t wait to get boba with our meal next time!

Excellent counter service ramen and dumplings restaurant in 5th street station. General Tso chicken was fantastic, mix of dark and white meat and it was not overly breaded. Shrimp and pork shuma was really great as well. Looking forward to eating here again.

Ive been here twice now, while the Korean Kimchi Ramen was Very good! But the Korean fried noodle had very little flavor. The Steamed dumplings were super plain tasting and not as expected. The ingredients were very quality and fresh. The restaurant was clean and inviting each time. The staff was friendly and offered insight on a few items.

I’ve been here twice since it opened, both times amazing experience. Food is good, always hot and staff is kind and friendly. Reasonably priced food, you can get a ramen and boba tea for $20. Dine in and to go!

The restaurant is really nice and cozy. The food is fantastic. I’m a big fan of ramen, and their kimchi ramen is fantastic.
