We got the Chicken Avocado Club and the Beach Club, with potato salad and fries. The avocado club was very good but heavy on the lemon if that’s not your thing. The fries are crispy and delicious, well seasoned. The potato salad was not my favorite, it was super heavy on the mayonnaise and nothing else. The coffee was very good and fresh. Plenty of outdoor seating right on the marina. You pay to park here though so be prepared for that 🙂 the girls were friendly but hadn’t tried much on the menu so couldn’t make suggestions. Spent about $50 for two sandwiches and 2 coffees.

The Outpost is only a year old but the new owners are doing a wonderful job. We ordered the fish tacos and monte cristo sandwich for lunch and they were both excellent. The shop is also very nice with snacks, essentials, and clothing for kids and adults. We will definitely be back.

Delicious Flavors by the Water: A Review of The Outpost at the Marina

Nestled along the serene Isle of Palms Marina, The Outpost offers a delightful culinary experience that perfectly complements its picturesque waterfront setting. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of indulging in two of their standout dishes: the Flounder Sandwich and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap.

The Flounder Sandwich, a true culinary gem, showcased impeccably cooked flounder nestled between two slices of freshly baked bread. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flakiness from the fish, crispness from the lettuce, and a subtle tanginess from the tartar sauce. The portion size was generous, ensuring that every mouthful was a satisfying delight.

Equally impressive was the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, which tantalized my taste buds with its perfect balance of spicy buffalo sauce, tender chicken, crisp lettuce, and creamy ranch dressing, all wrapped in a soft tortilla. The flavors harmonized beautifully, creating a symphony of taste that left me craving for more.

Aside from the outstanding food, the ambiance at The Outpost is worth mentioning. With its laid-back atmosphere and stunning views of the marina, it provides the perfect backdrop for a leisurely meal or a relaxing afternoon with friends and family.

Moreover, the service was exceptional, with the staff being attentive and friendly, ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was enjoyable.

In conclusion, The Outpost at the Marina on Isle of Palms exceeded my expectations with its delectable Flounder Sandwich and Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor exploring the area, I highly recommend indul

Our family loves going by the Outpost for a fun weekend lunch outing. The shop has the cutest items and clothes for sale, my kids love the ice cream, and we like to grab a yummy iced latte for an afternoon pick me up! Our fav menu items are the fried flounder sandwich and local fish tacos – so good! Also, everyone that works there is so kind and helpful!

One of my favorite hidden gems before the rebranding. It’s a bit overpriced, but still has a casual atmosphere. Lunch is fine , but I like the breakfast menu better.

On my last day at Isle of Palms, my friend and I had breakfast at the Outpost. The staff is very friendly and I ordered the breakfast burrito. It had eggs, cheese, bacon, and sausage, and I loved it. They also have a nice selection of hot sauces. We sat outside and enjoyed the view of the marina. The Outpost is also a store and you can buy all sorts of stuff and souvenirs. This is a cool place, and I recommend stopping by.

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years for the best philly cheesesteak in the area but new management has changed everything. I thought I could at least count on the perfectly cooked fries but they removed the old bay and don’t even salt them. The charm is gone as well since most local merchandise has been removed. It’s just not worth it anymore when the food has become bland and prices have risen by almost 50%.

I really miss the old dockside deli. This was the first time going to the outpost, it definitely has a beach vibe, however the food seems a little overpriced.

I got the chicken tenders with fries, the fries were very good and they give you a good amount.

5 chicken tenders isn’t bad, but those were some VERY small tenders for the price that I paid. It was $23 just for the tenders and fries with a Fanta orange….. it’s a convenient location but the price is the drawback for sure
