The BLOCK “T” proved to be a great place to get snacks and drinks. The service by the students is wonderful and authentic. The pretzel nuggets are delicious! As is the Texas trio. The atmosphere, too many screens! Screens at the table, screens above the bar, screens, screens everywhere! A nice place to chill. And you can get your parking validated.

I was here with friends to watch a game. Food is good, they have a decent appetizer selection. Staff is friendly, but service is slow. I went directly to the bar several times for service because we barely saw the server in the 3 hours we were here. Keep in mind, there were only 2 other tables besides us, so it wasn’t busy at all. I also wish the bar had a larger selection of beers on tap. Our overall experience wasn’t horrible, but I don’t see myself going back.

The chicken sandwich was really good, the fries were okay, and the pepperoni pizza reminded me of typical bowling alley pizza.
Our waitress was very kind and helpful, though service was slow at times when it came to getting water, food, and our card back. There was a large group dining there, which may have contributed.
The atmosphere was extremely loud. While the space itself is beautiful, the music combined with noise from a large group made conversation difficult. At one point, several men from the group entered the women’s restroom while I was inside. They were loud and laughing about being in the women’s bathroom, which was very uncomfortable.
Management was sympathetic and apologized for the situation, which I appreciated. I would recommend being mindful of the crowd when deciding whether to dine in.

The bartenders (the sisters) are A-MAZING! Super sweet and very good at their craft. Our server was new and we could tell he was struggle and probably should have had more support. We had the peach salad and it was AMAZING! The fried green tomato BLT had little to no tomato and the fries were underdone. My friend ordered the nachos and while the portion was insane, they came out ice cold. Sit at the bar and order the mac and cheese for the best experience!!

Wandered in here after muster looking for food. Jaq and Mia were great. Despite being absolutely slammed, they had great attitudes, were very attentive, and never missed a beat. The aggie Rita’s are a treat, and the crab dip is sooo good.

Beautiful views of the Kyle stadium and great service! Wish they had a few more beers on tap to choose from.

Spent Valentine’s weekend at the Hotel and enjoyed time in the bar several times. Specialty cocktails are amazing and the bar staff are so welcoming! Also used the upstairs room for a catered meal and bar for our son’s baseball team parent group. 10/10 recommend this space for 50 or less folks. food and bar were amazing our servers were awesome!

Food took a long time to be served (20 minutes for two appetizers) The nachos were cold – no warmth at all. Pulled pork was room temp and the cheese and BBQ sauce were cold. The Ceasar salad had chicken that looked and tasted like it came out of a can (like at a grocery store) and the dressing tasted nothing like Ceasar and there was too much. We will not be back.

Everything was great here. The beer was served in a good size chilled glass and the food was delicious.

I hate that I have to do this, but it was beyond bad service and food. I am staying at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center for an event, which we normally do. We have eaten at Block T many times over the years. The service has never really been great, but the atmosphere and food are delicious. We chose Block T tonight because both Aggies have a final in the morning. We arrived at Block T at 6:45 and waited to be seated. No one ever came. We took a table right next in front of the bar so we would be seen. We waited at least 20 minutes but never saw a waiter. My son thought maybe they were not serving dinner on a Sunday night, only drinks. Finally, I got up and asked the bartender, she said absolutely I’ll tell someone. After another 20 minutes a waiter came to our table and apologized and said he would be right back. He passed our table 4 more times and said the exact same thing every time. I ask my Aggies if they wanted to go somewhere but they realized it was too late to make other plans. So, we stuck it out. Finally, another waiter came to our table and took our order. When our food and drinks finally arrived, the waitress put the food on the table, and we never saw her again. Through this experience I did find out that I pay $15 for a sandwich that is taken out of the freezer. My sandwich was completely frozen. The bottom bun of my son’s sandwich was cold. The crust of my daughter’s pizza was burnt. The one thing that was edible was the pulled pork nachos. Of course, it something we always order, and they were delicious. At this point, my kids needed to leave, so we decided to just pack up our food and take it. But a waiter or waitress was nowhere to be found. The first question everyone I know will be asking is, “Did you tell someone so they could make it right?” I absolutely would have if I could have found someone. I finally had to wait outside the kitchen door and stop someone. I was nice, polite, and gave a generous tip, because I know they were all probably unsupervised college students. This review is mainly to the management of Block T. This is totally unacceptable. Especially when staying at the Texas A&M Conference Center. The two might not even be affiliated but when I stay there, I expect great food and service at the on-site restaurant.
