Cafe Beignets is a must stop every time we are in Gulf Shores! Best, Beignets in town! They even rival Beignets in New Orleans! They taste fresh every time, golden brown and just the right amount of powdered sugar. This is not some corporate giant company. This is a locally owned business. Please know that before coming. Sometimes they are cash only. I would rather support this small local business than a giant corporate chain any day.

The beignets were amazing! Melt in your mouth delicious! The cafe could use a thorough scrub down and maybe the staff shut the back door when the step outside to smoke. But besides the atmosphere, the food was delicious!

I went in here with my grandfather yesterday morning and we had a good time! The beignets are very tasty and filling and the chocolate sauce is good as well. The staff was so kind and chatty. We love supporting local businesses. I wish they offered more dipping sauces and any kind of substantial food, because they really only offer coffee, beignets, and muffins which aren’t filling long term.

Very small shop but, exactly what we like!! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the beignets were hot and fresh. And, the were ready so fast!! We got an order of filled beignets to share because they are large beignets but, if you have a big appetite, one could totally tackle these on their own! ( And, since they are so delicious, no one would blame you for not sharing! )

We came to get beignets and they were fantastic! 1 st time. The 2nd time was just a few weeks ago. Fantastic! My husband and I had to take my cousin and her husband to enjoy the bigness and they did. We are from Missouri came to Dauphin Island for vacation. The young man that was working, by himself, was a very friendly and polite. We will return in May 2026!!

My husband and I had an order of beignets and coffee. They were delicious! The man who cooked the beignets was so nice and funny. The lady who took our order was also very nice. We will keep this place in mind when we go on vacation, again. There was local art on the walls. I like helping out local artists.
