We stopped in for a drink this evening and, while everyone was nice enough to us, the rebel flag over the bar definitely let us know how somebody felt. I hate leaving negative local reviews but, hopefully, it sends a message. The general atmosphere says people who don’t look like me wouldn’t be welcome. Dayton is a wonderful, diverse city who would embrace a location that welcomed all of its people equally.
If it ever changes, I’d be willing to try again. As I said, everyone was nice to me and my wife but I don’t think we would go back after the sun went down.
