Decided to come here on my lunch break and loved it. Surprisingly it wasn’t super busy. I was seated quickly and ordered steamed gyoza (which I devoured & was pretty much gone before I took a photo) and a chicken teriyaki bento box. It was the perfect meal. Everything was fresh and made to order. The service was great. The waiter answered all my questions (as I have a shellfish allergy) and was patient.
I ended my lunch with a mango milk tea and it’s so refreshingly delicious. I’m not a fan of tapioca pearls but I really enjoyed them in this drink. I took the photo of my tea as I was walking back to work and busted my butt by literally tripping off the curb of the road very shortly after lol and I went back to otsuka ramen, showed him my cup that looked shredded to pieces (I’m telling you I hit the ground HARD) and he kindly made me another one without question.
10/10 will be continuing to eat here on my lunch break and will be bring friends and family.

Came here while visiting Birmingham. Their drinks were real good (tried Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Taro Milk Tea, and Mango Fruit Tea). They were refreshing and didn’t taste artificial. Very quick service and yummy dishes (Spicy Curry Ramen, Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, and Katsu Don). They had good serving sizes. Glad we came here. Hopefully we can eat here again if we come back.

I’ve been to otsuka ramen twice and both times I was very impressed with the quality of the fried rice and the meat. Their egg rolls are some of the best I’ve ever had. The crab rangoons are very good, clearly hand made in house. Best place to eat on this strip downtown

Tonkotsu Shoyu ramen was ordered, the cilantro was far too strong and over powered every single ingredient. The second dish we ordered was the Otsuka house ramen. It left much to be desired and had some insect in it. The water provided was unclean. The waitress was very respectful and attentive.

Great experience here at Otsuka Ramen.
I had the Otsuka House Ramen and it was very good! The only complaint I had was that the egg was hard boiled when the menu stated soft boiled.
I also had the Crab Wontons and they were some of the best I’ve had in the area. The location is great for UAB and Children’s of Alabama. I will be trying their sushi next.

What a great time my family and I had! We order the Otsuka Ramen with pork belly (so good) the Teriyaki chicken skewers (fantastic) the Ocean and Passion Poke Bowl (ask for light on the wasabi mayo it will light you up) Edamame and Seaweed Salad (both good) and Hot Green Tea (wonderful). Thank you so much for feeding my family.

We came here to celebrate mine and my daughter’s birthday. She got a ramen dish and I got the chicken wings with sesame sauce and chicken fried rice. When I tell you those chicken wings were fire and my daughter absolutely loved her ramen. The Chicken Fried rice was so yummy and flavorful. 10 out of 10 will recommend and I am definitely coming back. The food, same food as the first time … Was not good… Something wasn’t right. It was literally everything we ordered except the egg roll. I really wanted this to be a new go-to for my family, but the issue tonight…. Chicken was dry, sushi seemed like taste wasn’t right with the salmon, rangoons not crunchy, ramen R3 too… The vibe was not as positive. Saturday night, this place should be packed… 4 customers total, and it seemed like food quality has suffered.
First visit! Worth the travel for something different.
