Absolutely loved this place! We started with cocktails, bread/spreads, and cauliflower. Then had short ribs, butternut squash risotto, and coffee ice cream to finish. Everything was delicious! We were very happy with our meal and service was great. Did the art walk after too which was lovely. We will 100% be back.

Barn8 was full on a Thursday evening. We felt lucky to get our 6:45 pm reservation! The atmosphere was warm and the decor was interesting throughout. The fresh salad with baked pears was excellent and large enough to share among the three of us. The ravioli dish, however, was a bit underwhelming for the price. The trout and bison entrées were both amazing, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The miniscule icecream dish was flavorful. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The music and lights show along the boardwalk is a unique and memorable touch.

Barn8 is a truly special dining experience—elegant, intimate, and full of character. Set inside a beautifully restored horse barn, the atmosphere blends rustic charm with modern sophistication. The grounds are incredible from flowers to herbs! The menu is simple, creative and truly farm to table. We weren’t drinking and felt our server didn’t appreciate it and overall was absent but otherwise, it was a lovely visit and we’d return. Last note – the chickens clucking in the restroom was a whimsical touch.

It’s a lovely location and a well-designed building, but the food didn’t quite match up. I found the fries to be overly salty and burger overpowered by the mayo. The risotto and scallops were also salty and the scallops weren’t great. We expected a bit more of a natural and fresh flavor from farm-to-table. I’ll update if we go back and have a different experience. Service was nice and it’s still a nice spot for drink on a beautiful summer evening.

Such a unique experience. I know many reviews have mentioned the old horse stalls already, so I won’t go into that.

However, I do want to mention the unquestionably unique food offerings. Many items to list, but I am going to recommend the bread platter, the cauliflower, and the NY Strip steak. Make sure you try the black garlic butter. My only regret was not putting some on my steak.

The desserts were also very good. The four of us ordered something unique so that we could try a bite of everything. Whichever you choose, you can’t go wrong.

A unique dining experience! Food and service were excellent. The cocktails were creative and beautifully presented, as were entrees and desserts. We had a party of 8 and sat in one of the ‘stalls’ I reserved a month in advance for a going away get together. It was private and quiet. Highly recommend.

Barn8 delivered on every level—exceptional ambience, outstanding service, and truly delicious food. The setting is beautiful, with lovely grounds that we’d love to come back and explore more. We dined in one of the semi-private horse stalls, which made the experience feel both unique and intimate—such a special touch. The wine and bourbon selection is incredibly extensive, perfect for pairing with the meal or just enjoying something new. From start to finish, the staff was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. This is the kind of place that’s perfect for a celebration or a memorable evening out. Highly recommend if you’re in the area, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

I’m honestly astonished to see negative reviews about Barn 8. From my experience, it delivers exactly what it promises — and then some.
The food may not be for everyone, especially if you’re expecting heavy, overly processed, or overly familiar dishes. But if you value clean, thoughtfully prepared meals made with all local ingredients, it is absolutely amazing. You can truly taste the difference in the freshness and quality. Every dish feels intentional, vibrant, and beautifully balanced.
What stands out most is their commitment to sourcing locally and keeping everything clean and ingredient-focused. Nothing feels artificial or overdone — just pure, well-prepared food that lets the ingredients shine. It’s refreshing to dine somewhere that prioritizes quality from farm to table.
For those who appreciate fresh, local, clean cuisine, Barn 8 is exceptional. I would go back again without hesitation.

Absolutely stellar experience. This is a farm to table restaurant with fresh, delicious food that also offers a number of other on site experiences such as horse encounters and an art walk.

The restaurant is set in a refurbished barn and it’s very cosy and bright. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful.

I had an old fashioned which was good. Followed that up with a Dragon’s Blood cocktail which I liked quite a bit better

I had the bass as my entree and it was simply amazing. Well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The squash puree was the perfect complement.

Amazing Gem of a place. Food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were fantastic. We had a party of 9 – 6 adults and 3 10-12yr old boys and everybody loved the apps, entrees, and desserts. Staff were so friendly and great at their job. Walking the grounds afterwards added to the evening.
