Great authentic Mexican food hiding in the town of Rowland, NC. About 4 miles from Pedro’s South of the Border and light-years ahead in quality and service. Huge portions and low prices. Even gave us complimentary dessert.

The wife and I are vegetarian and have lived outside Rowland for two years. One thing we hate: having to drive at least 20 minutes to go out to eat somewhere decent.
Dined in, they were packed, food was delicious!
Last night, my wife picked up carry out: food was great except my meal could have used some salt: but I was home so no issue!
Incredible food less than 10 minutes from our home!

We’re in town visiting for the weekend, and stopped in here for dinner. All of the food was amazing! Especially the salsa. And there was also fantastic servers, and cooks. We will try to make a trip here for lunch every time we drive through town 🙂

First time customer. Very friendly and helpful staff. I had chips and salsa while I was waiting for my to-go order. Best salsa that I have had in many years. The spicy shrimp meal was perfect when I got home. Highly recommended.

Yum! You could see clearly in each dish that they take great care in what they serve. Friendly and quick service too. We live about 45 minutes away, but passing through, I would definitely come here again with my family. If I had one very small critique, it would be turn the heat up a bit this winter, please! It was freezing!

Great food and atmosphere. The staff and everyone was soooooo Nice. When my wife goes to a town she likes to try there Authentic Mexican tacos and she said these were the best so far. The salsa and Pico de Gallo was very fresh. She will definitely be going back!

We had gotten off at South of the Border. Decided not to eat there. We found this hidden gem a few miles away. It’s worth the few extra miles any day! The grilled chicken and beef tacos were amazing and some of the best we’ve had!

Absolutely amazing tacos!!! I loved the carnitas most but the Asada was also very tasty. It is authentic, high quality, fresh, large serving sizes, excellent service. If you get a chance, you need to stop and eat here!
