It is real authentic food I’ll give them that. Would have been nice if we had a waitress that understood english. She had to get a drink menu cause she didnt understand what we wanted. We had to point to drink and food menus for what we wanted. If you speak spanish you’d probably love the place. Food was mediocre to say the least . Service lacked.
Another employee server checked on us, cleared our dishes etc.
I had the steak Quesadillas which was dripping of grease, and had alot of pieces of gristle in it. No sour cream with it.
Husband had California burrito
That included something that looked like soup on the side and very watery. All in all everyone has an opinion but we definitely Won’t be back.

The food was very good.
Service is HORRIBLE. We got it to go at like 6pm on a Saturday. There was only one table seated in the restaurant when I walked in to pickup. I scheduled pickup for 615. I walked in at like 620ish cause I went to the store next door to buy things. They didn’t hand me my food until 635. I told the lady I was there for pickup and she didn’t say anymore to me. No “they’re finishing up now.” Nothing for 15mins.
I do not like that, because why order online at all if you’re going to have to wait? I simply don’t understand that.
Anyway, I got the carne asada baleada. My husband got a carne asada torta, and they gave us carne asada tacos. And we got caldo de res to share. I only ended up eating one baleada because it was a lot.
The food was really good, but the fact that the service was just horrible, and they were absolutely dead on a Saturday night at 6pm says a lot. I did notice there was nothing but Hispanics eating inside. The one table seated was a Hispanic family. A group walked out when I arrived, all Hispanic. And another Hispanic family walked in while I waited, the staff all came out and hugged and greeted them. So that’s always a good sign, when I see a lot of Hispanics eating at Hispanic restaurants it normally means it’s because it’s more authentic. Like I said, the food was very good but I’m unsure about trying them again. If the service was that bad on a dead Saturday night, then I can’t even imagine what it’s like if more than 3 tables are seated in there. I cannot speak on the table service. But I do recommend stopping at the store for sure! They had so many snack I haven’t seen since I lived in Rosarito. So I got a few of course. And for now.. I recommend giving the restaurant a try if you’ve been wanting to. I already gave my heads up about the customer service, or lack there of ✌

My husband really likes this place. So I ONLY go get HIM food here. I DO NOT buy myself food here. THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. I got here 20 mins late for my online order again. A man was sitting waiting for his food. He said the woman told him 5 mins, and he’d been waiting for 20 already. So I knew my food was about to take a long time again. Then when he asked where his food was, the lady just said “yes 5 mins.” It wasn’t that they didn’t understand him, I speak Spanish, they knew he just wanted to know how much longer for his food. But they didn’t even want to go and check if his food was done. 20 mins later?! 3 employees just sitting at a table in the empty restaurant, no one wants to help customers. Just close the restaurant if you don’t want to give good service. I had a pickup order for 635pm… I got to the restaurant at 645, and I left at 7pm. Thanks to that guy for complaining tho, I think that’s the only reason my food came out so fast.

We love this place. The food is freshly made to order. Their chimichangas, chori Pollo and pupusas are so good. Even though their food is Mexican, they also serve foods from other Central American countries. So delicious. You will not be disappointed. You’ll love it.

We came around lunch time on a weekday, and it wasn’t busy. As you walk you are welcomed by the pretty decor. I love the colors! Got seated at our tables and was instantly greeted by a waitress. They serve chips and salsa with a guacamole sauce. I don’t recommend the sauce. And it took a little while for the food to come out but when it did, I was delighted!

The only reason I gave 4 stars on the food was the lack of selection of Mexican beers otherwise, the food was superb.

I decided to order from here today because my original spot I order my Mexican food from wasn’t open. Although the woman that answered the phone was super nice and assisted me well and got my order perfect, the food itself was a big disappointment although it looked like it would taste good it didn’t ! The tamales was nothing but Masa and I mean super thick masa. Very little meat at all. And the Menudo was tasteless had no flavor, the meat wasn’t cooked all the way through so the tripe was super tough. I won’t be ordering from here again.

Had a great meal here. Welcoming atmosphere with a front attendant greeting you. Our server was nice and approached the table at reasonable times to check in with us. However, the menus were sticky though. Process to pay was easy. The music wasn’t too loud or quiet, judt perfect! Went on a friday night, wasn’t too busy and food came out all together in about 15-20 minutes.

Hate to be writing a negative review on a small business but this is my third time visiting with my family. The first time was ok. But unfortunately this will be my last time coming. Since there expansion the quality of food is not there. The rice was more of a mashed potato texture. The burrito came open with the mushy rice coming out of it with hardly any meat. The soup is suppose to be a birria soup, this is just a regular goat meat soup with more bones than meat. The tacos also lacks flavor.
