Omg this is the worst Ritas ever. We went tonight 2/6 and the assistant manager was there and she was SO rude. The girl who was working with her was super sweet. But she sucked! I was like idk what I want. I had just walked in and she was just mean and looking at me like she hated me lol. I hadn’t been to a Rita’s in a while so I was looking and she as a manager had no recommendations but her coworker was sweet and offered insight. It was so awkward and uncomfortable.

Rita’s is a great spot for an after dinner dessert! Fast and friendly service. You can sample the different flavors before committing to one. The custard and gelati are both awesome! I definitely recommend one of the two over getting the Italian ice by itself. They even have outdoor seating with umbrellas! They also accept ApplePay

We actually got Rita’s from the Athens last night from their truck. The young men that served us were very polite and paid attention to detail. Although there were not a lot of flavors to choose from (it’s a van to it’s small) the items were got were delicious! I ordered a small chocolate custard and my husband ordered a cherry Italian ice. Both we’re amazing and hit the spot! Highly recommend and we will be going again.

After hearing people talk about Rita’s we decided to go and it did not disappoint! When you walk in the shop smells SO good. They were pretty busy but the line was moving fast.
Employees were friendly and provided quick, efficient service. They have a chalkboard wall for kids to write on which is neat. They also have indoor and outdoor seating. This is a great place for families and to make memories.
I got the sundae with brownies and it was delicious! It was a generous amount of custard and was so creamy and smooth. Definitely compets with handel’s (our fav place) We will definitely be back for future visits!

MADISON AL LOCATION: I wish I could give this place negative stars. I got a concrete and it right as well had been a cup of milk.my husband picked the family a treat for a cheat day and this was everything but. There was a black lady and s foreign lady that obviously did not want to be working at this establishment so hence poor customer service was provided. Then they were out of multiple flavors and ingredients. The chocolate chips had a funny after taste and so did the strawberries. At this point im just praying we don’t get sick

We enjoy the custard and ice, but the customer service seems to be poor here. We have visited this location twice in three days, and both times the employees acted like they were annoyed by our coming into the store. We always try to be kind to service workers by greeting them when we come in. These ladies just stared at us until we made our order, then checked us out without even saying “You’re welcome” when we thanked them. However, despite their rudeness, they make sure to ask for a tip before you leave!

We’ve been waiting for this place to open and it did not disappoint. The employees were really really friendly. The line was long but it moved quickly. The owner served me and let me sample as much as I wanted to. He said the Banana Pudding flavor was his wife’s specialty!

Delicious treat, very refreshing. It has the most unique texture to any flavored ice dessert I’ve ever had. The Gelati version is my favorite.
All the flavors are delightful so far that I’ve tried except tropical fusion which wasn’t our thing.
