Driving home to Chicago from New Mexico. Came across this gem. Food is amazing. Prices are reasonable. Tortillas seem to be homemade. Mega burritos are the size of a college football. My kids loved the gorditas. From a Chicago perspective, I definitely recommend. Truly authentic.

Best bite I’ve had in Liberal: spicy shredded beef Gordita from Gorditas 2 Go. Also got a steak Gordita which was great, but the shredded beef was just too good. Perfectly seasoned and the right amount of spice. Price is right as well. Definitely check them out!

Ordered Asada torta. They put roast beef. Called and explained to them. They said, they cut it to small pieces. I told them, I know the difference between steak and roast beef. Steak don’t shred in your fingers like roast beef. He finally admitted the cook replace steak with roast beef. I told him I don’t want my money back. The principle that matters. Going to try to lie then finally admitted. i told him, he doesn’t need to refund me my money back. Instead of trying to lie at the start. I know everyone trying to cut corners but, come on. Roast beef trying to pass as asada. That’s unforgivable. Paying more and they throw cheap can roast beef as steak. Shame on them. Lost a customer.

My husband and I were driving through liberal on the way to Wichita, and we needed something quick. I read the reviews for this place, and it sounded good. He had Carne Asada burrito Smothered and I had a chicken gordita. I am really only grading the food here, and it was very, very good. We never went into the dining room, so I can’t comment about that; I did, however, stand at the counter and watch the people who were working there, Cook, and that was very clean and tidy. Whenever we are in liberal, we will stop here again. It was top notch. Thank you.
