We found this place when we were looking for something close to the base. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the Jive Turkey sandwich, the pastrami sandwich, a croissant sandwich, fries, wings and freshly squeezed strawberry lemonade. Seriously, the food was outstanding!! The fries were flavored and thicker than most (my favorite kind of fries)
My only critique is that Google says that you can dine in the restaurant, you cannot. Absolutely no place to sit. But the atmosphere in the place is cool. Luckily, one of the neighbors who live above the restaurant let us sit on their porch area.

I stopped here on my way from work after seeing this sandwich shop on IG… it’s a small spot tucked away on MLK… The restaurant is very clean, service was impeccable and the sandwich was HEARTY !!! I plan on returning to try the crab cake sandwich.

The King club is my favorite! I like to dress my sandwich with a little extra stuff even-thought is just fine the way they prepare it! I can only eat half for lunch and half for dinner that’s just how fulfilling & satisfying this sandwich is! I have to mention the fresh ingredients is a huge plus!

Had some time between meeting up with friends before concert. Drove by this place and decided to stop by for a quick bite to eat. Small inside area for ordering. Staff was very friendly. Prompt service. We both had the “jive turkey” but with different bread and cheese choices. You can grab chips and a drink to complete your meal. What I like is the outside patio sitting area. Very cute, comfortable covered area with a tv. Will definitely come back and try some other options on.

There was no chili in the “sweet chili mumbo”
Wings- it tasteful only Mumbo sauce to me. I’m not a fan of the pineapple lemonade either.

Surprisingly the customer service was really really good…. But the food portions are sad! Nothing comes with the sandwich? Just a sandwich. The prices are outrageous. I was completely disappointed after spending $18 that I walked away with a sandwich smaller than the palm of my hand and a cup of juice. Not my idea of getting the best “bang for my buck”. A “make it a meal” option needs to be added so your customers are full or at least satisfied for lunch. I literally drove from Fredericksburg, VA to eat here because I saw it on Fox 5 News and I’m a foodie, a 1 1/2 hour trip, just to stop again n get more food elsewhere on the way home.

first of all, food takes a long time to cook, secondly its a bit expensive, third, so far everything I’ve tried,the food is bland, I ordered some Parmesan garlic wings and they were too dry and they did not pull/pluck the hairs on the chicken, yuck. than the blue cheese is too thick with little wetness.
