We have hard serve and soft serve, as well as dairy-free, sugar-free and gluten-free options. And, don’t forget your pups! We have a special sundae just for them. The best time to come is just before sunset over Mt Washington! We have one of the best views in the Valley. Did you know that we have an adorable ice cream concession trailer? We LOVE weddings and all sorts of celebrations and will travel nearly anywhere in NH and ME. We also deliver! The first thing that stands out about Trails End is the enormous serving sizes. I thought people were relating the scoops to softballs themselves but no, the shop literally defines their scoop size as softball sized! A kiddie size is larger than most two scoop servings at other ice cream shops. The ice cream itself is high quality – very creamy and true to their name flavors. I tried the black raspberry (with free chocolate sprinkles on top) and it did not disappoint!

We had trails end ice cream provide an ice cream truck at our wedding!! We loved it so much and Nancy was awesome! All our guests loved the special touch and Nancy even brought an extra fall pumpkin flavor free of charge. She let the bride and groom go inside the ice cream truck to take pictures! Highly recommend if you are looking for an ice cream truck for your wedding! One of the best parts of the night.

Not gonna lie, we were so chocked with the size!!! My husband and I both got two scoops(small size) and it was HUGE!!!! I would say the small size is the large size for other places. But the ice cream was so tasty and we still finished all four scoops! We got salted caramel, cookie and cream, rum raisin, and chocolate chip. My personal favorite is rum raisin. Very delicate taste and not too sweet.

The value here is unmatched. Really great homemade ice cream and huge portions. A “scoop” is really like two or three. If you just want a typical portion get one scoop split into two flavors. Prices are cheaper than other ice cream places but portions are 2-3x larger. Really good quality, too. Absolutely will be back.
