I had an absolutely delightful experience at the Garden Restaurant! I ordered the chili and cheese omelette with potatoes and wheat toast, which was highly recommended by the sweet and charming Janet, my lovely waitress. From the moment I sat down, the service was incredibly warm and welcoming, giving the restaurant a true “Mom & Pop” vibe that made me feel right at home. My food arrived in less than 5 minutes, which was impressive! The omelette was cooked to perfection, and the potatoes were crisp and flavorful, all complemented by a nice, hearty wheat toast. To top it off, the coffee and water were just what I needed to round out a perfect meal. The friendly atmosphere and personal touch from the staff made this a standout dining experience. The last time I ate here was over 50 years ago and it was almost magical finding it still open and very much unchanged! It’s a local spot and it’s authentic. The food is simple but very good and the service is great! The counter and booths are set up in the drugstore with a view of the pharmacy. Can’t find any places like this anywhere else in the area!

Food is home cooked and mouth watering. Sweet tea but not all sugar, delicious gravy and biscuits. Previously had lunch here. A great weekly stop for us. Going to try the pie next time.

What a cute and delicious spot. You can taste the family recipes in the food and it’s very convenient to be connected to a local store in case you need an item for the house. I had some Togo food but wouldn’t mind sitting in next time to try the pie. It looked amazing!

This is my new FAVORITE DINER in Oakland Park! The prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious…good coffee also. It reminds me an old fashioned lunch counter with a pharmacy! I will certainly be back there soon.

The food was ok, hash browns were a little under cooked. Biscuit and gravy, the biscuit was kinda mushy and broken apart under all the gravy. Service was good though. Seemed like a locals diner that is connected to a pharmacy.
