Simply delicious meal! The Cajun turkey wings were fall off the bone moist and tender. Collard greens were good (not salty) as well as the mashed sweet potatoes (not sugary). Great portion size, enough for two meals!

This was my first order from Aunt Berth’s Kitchen. We ordered their fried chicken wings, fried whiting, collard greens, yams, crab cake, okra, corn, and tomato dish with french fries. The chicken wings, fried whiting, collard greens and yams were absolutely delicious. However, the crab cake didn’t quite meet my expectations, as I had hoped to taste more crab. The okra, corn, and tomato dish was tasty, but it could have benefited from a bit more flavor. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be a repeat customer in the future.

I ordered jumbo fried shrimp. And the is what I got . By the time I looked inside my bag when I got home it was too late for me to go back to have this fixed. Wouldn’t recommend. I couldn’t even finish one shrimp from the burnt taste. I had high hopes for this. I’ll add the place is not as hygienic as I thought. I figured bc I’m ordering something from the grill and not from the untidy buffet table it would be better. But I should’ve just walked out once I seen that. Sorry for the honest review

Whiting fish (my family didn’t like the taste)
Fries (according to my kid and she loves fries from pretty much everywhere)
Overall everyone in my party either added seasoning or hot sauce to their food bc it was lacking in flavor. Some food was decent and others needed some help.
Staff were super friendly and they were open late.

A friend referred me to Aunt Bertha’s Kitchen, and I finally made the visit. I ordered take out. The menu has plenty of options and reasonably priced. The portions were plentiful. I ordered the turkey wings, Mac & cheese, and yams. My friend ordered the two meat wings and fried whiting. All items were seasoned to perfection. The turkey wings were cooked tender-with a gentle pull, falling off the bone. Yes, they got it RIGHT. I will be back and refer friends as a 1st choice for local soul food.

The customer service is A+ . I was greeted when I walked in. The food smelled good and the location looked clean. I was pleased with the ordering process as well as the menu selection. It looks like they tried to cover all the “soul food” options. We purchased the family whiting fish meal with 3 large sides of potato salad, seafood salad and collard greens. The fish is good . The seafood salad is good.
