My wife and I were volunteering in Greenville but had to drive through Clemson and it was around 12:45, lunchtime on a Saturday. The restaurant was slow and only had two other tables. The restaurant has great interior design and atmosphere. There is a small patio outside, but in shade this time of day. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. This is the second time I’ve been here and both times the waitresses were friendly, knowledgeable and well-trained (not every establishment can say that).

Overall, this is a fusion kind of restaurant and, in my opinion, Amerinese (American+Chinese for those scratching their head), and so if you don’t like sugar added make sure to tell them when ordering.

I had the Spicy Scallion Chicken and fried rice (It seemed to me to be the same as the Amerinese dish of General Tso’s chicken, without the sauce (if you’d like to see what I mean by Amerinese, watch the documentary, “In search of General Tso’s). Good dish, especially because I added chili oil (on the side) to both my steamed dumplings (pot stickers)(see pic) and the rice.

My wife had the Pad Thai (too sweet), and we both had complimentary spring rolls with the lunch menu.

We both enjoyed it and the price was good. Obviously, I will come back, since this is my second time and I live an hour away.

Basically, what we expected, and it was fine.

Go!

Honestly our favorite go to sushi place when we are looking for an affordable meal that fills us up. The food here is always top notch and the service is immaculate.

Our server tonight was Sophia and she was very polite and quick to take care of us!

My husband and I go to Red bowl a good bit and our server Riley really stood out. She did an amazing job, my husband drinks water like a fish and she kept his cup full and checked on us often. Very appreciated. The food was amazing as always. Props to their chefs and servers for amazing service. We have never had a bad experience.

Stop by the Red Bowl Asian Bistro for dinner. A large capacity restaurant with ample seating, friendly staff and delicious food.

For our visit, there were not too many seated patrons, but they were doing a brisk take out business. This could, however, be due to the early nature of our dinner, which was 5 PM.

Our waiter was Samy and he was very good. Very attentive, checking back frequently and making sure our drinks were full. In addition, he was able to accommodate our meal request.

For our meal, we started with a cucumber roll. It was excellent. Our entrées were black pepper chicken, Hunan beef (we had them substitute beef for chicken) and chicken fried rice. All were large portions, so much so, we have enough leftovers for lunch the next day. I will mention, that unlike some Asian restaurants I go to, the dishes were not over salted which is fantastic. Additionally, the menu is extensive and has lots of options for vegetarians and gluten-free.

So great food and great service. A winning combination. We will be back again.

Food was delicious and quick to serve. The waiters were really nice. The menu item I would order is the out of control roll and the red bowl roll. Also the sesame chicken and young chow fried rice. Overall, this is a very good place to eat.

Wow!

We have found our new favorite place. We love Asian cuisine of all kinds and Red Bowl has a great selection. The restaurant is beautiful, lots of tables, quiet, and even has a full bar.

Can’t wait to go back and try something new.

My daughters an I have been going to this restaurant once or twice a week for a few months. But tonight I learned that there is a up charge to get soy paper rather than the sea weed wrap that comes on the rolls. I have never noticed it on the bill until tonight. The waitress was not sure they had soy paper , I am sure the waitress ask the manager just by the way she acted. Kinda seemed like it triggered the opportunity to change more. The rolls one of my daughters got were considerably smaller than normal an prepared a little differently than usual. Maybe they were just having an off night. I mentioned my concerns to the manager but she did not seem interested in making me feel any better. $50 twice a week for a month = $400 . Idk that loss would concern me .
