Horrible experience ordering sub around 530 tonight. Meatball sub was totally black, hard , burnt and disgusting as was Hoagie bread. Like themeatballs were left there all day until it overcooked and turned black. Won’t be coming back after many many chances we gave you to get terrible, uncooked gooey overpriced BS pizzas and nasty burnt Hoagies that sat all day and maybe night. We even talked to someone before about these issues before and apparently requests were ignored, judging by other reviews. Now I am done.

We’ve been going to Al’s since 2007. Their food is always fresh, reasonably-priced and quite a variety. No matter what mood you are in, you will find just the right item. My husband loves their soups. Homemade and at least a choice of three and chili. I love the salads, especially the chef and tuna salad. We love to sit in the Cafe area and be waited on, as all the severs are so nice and attentive. Definitely one of our hangouts when we’re in the Enola/ Summerdale area.

They don’t have a Philly Cheese Steak but Al’s is pretty darn close. The food is made to order and always good. You can call in your order and pick up, usually about 30 minutes or less depending on what you order and how busy they are. They have a little dining area with booths where you can eat in. They also sell beer by the bottle/can as well as soda and water.

I ordered food late Christmas Eve for delivery to my dad’s for his birthday. It was close to closing for the night and they still completed the order and got the food delivery so he had something to eat while I was stuck at work. They had the best communication and made sure he had dinner. 10/10 will always recommend and the food, AMAZING!

I’m not one to usually write reviews and in the past Al’s has been excellent. But our most recent experience had us pay over 40 dollars for an underdone, wet, large pizza and a side of garlic knots. As I said I’m not one to write reviews but on top of an hour wait time it just wasn’t worth it unfortunately.

I started coming here once I moved to enola it’s a really nice atmosphere I’ve dined in once and it was very pleasant and since I moved and left enola I still like to travel here for the pizza which is so good me and my daughter like to come here for the food when we can we really love the food and atmosphere and the people are always polite

Easily on my top 5 restaurants in PA. The cheesteaks are absolutely delicious! The pizza was so good and to top it all off they were very friendly. My husband and I travel through here twice a year and will be stopping every time.

Went in at 9pm tonight it wasn’t busy but they rushed to make my order. I got a chicken cheese steak sub. I asked for bacon and they put the smallest amount of bacon I have ever seen on a sub. It wasn’t even cooked with the chicken like most shops do. Looks like they just threw in a small handful right in the middle of the sub. And it’s not even crumble bacon. I wish they were more consistent because I’d order from them more.

I’ve never had a problem with this place, if anything I think there was a slight issue like 2 years ago and then forgetting something but even that wasn’t a huge deal. Honestly I love this place and to be honest the fact that they could put up with a schmuck like me who orders a bacon cheeseburger sub with mushrooms and extra mayonnaise and not having problem with it it’s refreshing this day in age

Awesome little spot! Great beer selection, great pizza. Fresh toppings, great crust. I could probably drink a quart of the sauce. Wings were also good. Friendly staff. They handed out PA lottery tickets while I was there! What a cool idea, never experienced that in all my travels (150k+ or – per year). Convenient to 81, it’s in a shopping center so truck parking is possible. The place was packed when I was there, and for good reason. Will certainly return. Oh, I didn’t win the lottery. But the lady beside me won $20!
