Good food, great price, ok service (if allergic to peanuts mention ahead of time, they don’t check with you), good decor. Suggested by colleague, went there for with group of 8. Tried pad kee Mao , it’s a bit different compared to other places I have had but good. Spring roll and salad was included in the lunch menu.

This was a decent Thai joint… Roti canai is different from other Thai restaurants that I have been to… Food is good but nothing very Fancy… Will try other Thai places before I drive all the way up here again.

We walked in TRU THAI around 6:30pm on a Saturday night and were pleased by the nice environment. The service couldn’t have been friendlier. We ordered fried squids (the real name is fried calamari on the menu) and steamed dumplings for appetizer. Both arrived quickly and we liked it.
The entrees pad Thai and Kee Mao fried rice looked great. My husband went with a low spicy level and I medium spicy. The portion was good and above all the taste was great! I ate everything that was on my plate, and we would go back definitely next time in town.

Excellent Thai food, one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Good selection and great spice. I’ve only ordered take out but it’s already fast, fresh, and hot when I pick up. Be careful to only order 3* and up spiciness of you can handle good strong spice.

Went in on a friends recommendation and was not disappointed. The food was very good and it was great that they offered different level of spice to keep it kid friendly. The prices were very reasonable and the portions very fulfilling. The service was warm and friendly and the place had beautiful decor. During the visit we grabbed a to go menu and ha e ordered several times and the service has been just as good as the dining in. Also the quality of food was maintained in the take out. It’s a wonderful place to go and eat and has also been a go to takeout place for me. Highly recommend it.

We live locally and had dinner for 2 on Monday evening. We used to visit Tru Thai more often and decided to try again. However, the food and service remain very average and super spicy. I like spice and ordered our dishes ‘medium’ (2 diamond) at the recommendation of the waitress. Unfortunately, the food was really too hot to eat. In no way was it ‘medium’ as had been described by our server.
I called her over and asked if this was really medium since it was so hot. She responded that the other table said the food was too spicy also and that we should order it with 1 diamond next time, and walked away. Not well handled. Medium has to be medium if it’s described that way.
I cut her tip to 11% and will go to Origin Thai or Ye Asian Bistro from now on.

This is the real Thai taste, real Thai food with a real Thai chef. I try Tru Thai Curry Street on lunch special menu only $8.95 brought by thai chef from Bankok. I can’t find anywhere else but here. You will see the different.

Great Thai food. Been to MANY Thai places over the years and this one is as good as they get. The service is a but slow, but the food more than makes up for it.

Company lunch go to spot. Food is good. Don’t know about its authenticity but delicious enough for me to forget about the whole authenticity issue. It could be that every time I go, I was really hungry too.

This is one of the best places to get Thai food in NJ. The service here is great, and the food is amazing. I’ve been here more than a dozen times, and I was only dissatisfied once.
