We have over 30 parking spaces available across the street, diagonally opposite (in front of the Peoria Riverfront Museum) our building. Look for the sign that says MAXAM Building Parking.

Had an excellent experience dining out here! The food was great and the service was also great! Brad did a great job explaining the menu to us and also giving us suggestions on the favorites! I tried the butter chicken and the garlic naan and they both were excellent! I would highly recommend anyone wanting to try something new, or someone that already loves eating Indian food to come here and enjoy what they have to offer! The atmosphere was just right! Not to noisy which was a plus! All the staff was very friendly! I will definitely be coming here again in the near future!

An awesome Indian restaurant in Downtown Peoria. The place is clean, good ambiance and the service was good. Really loved the Karampodi chicken( I would get it again). The talpakattu biryani was spot on. Poori masala was very good too. Also got the pudina Aam panna (5/5), a unique flavor of Aam and not too sweet at all. Would definitely get it again. Tasted it and got a Togo (after finishing our lunch).

The food is absolutely delicious! Get there early as the large 2 dinning areas fill up fast. Service is excellent. PK our server gave great suggestions as this was our first time visiting the restaurant. There are many different menu items to choose from.

Let me start off by saying this is our first experience having Indian food. When we walked in it was very inviting and open and clean. We were greeted by Brad who was very very nice explained everything and answered all questions that we had. My husband and I had the chicken tikka masala, the chicken biryani, the garlic cheese naan and the rasmalai for dessert. Everything came out very fresh hot and delicious. Everything had phenomenal flavors.
Brad was amazing and we will definitely be returning to eat again.

Just had one of the BEST meals here! Every dish we got was fresh and so flavorful. Our server, Bharad, was extremely helpful and answered all our questions and gave great recommendations. We decided this will be our standing date night spot so we can keep trying their expansive menu! Just go!! Oh, and finish your meal with a mango lassi!

Highly recommend the majestic gobi (lots of flavors) and the classic butter chicken. Their naan is also a must have. I haven’t had an Indian IPA before, but the Bira did not disappoint – is lighter than most traditional IPAs with hints of grapefruit. Really friendly, attentive staff; Abi, was bartending and provided helpful recommendations.

A few of us came to Bay Leaf spur the moment to try some Indian. It was a fantastic experience. Brad was our waiter, and was very cordial and helpful. Being our first time getting Indian, he patiently explained the menu and gave us several recommendations. The food was delicious, and the portions were more than suitable. I got the chicken vindaloo with garlic naan…and would highly recommend.

I’m not Indian, but I used to live in an area of California with a lot of Indian food – so I’ve eaten it a lot. After I moved back to Peoria, I tried all the local places. The verdict: Bay Leaf is easily the best one.
I really love their chicken 65 dish and butter chicken. The garlic naan is also great. The kebabs look and smell really good, too, but we have yet to try those. You can choose your spice level which is great since I love really spicy food, but my wife is the polar opposite.
The location is good, parking is easy, the staff are all very friendly, and the inside is nice and clean. There’s also plenty of seating so we’ve never experienced having to wait.
