So I had a hankering for a Reuben on my birthday. These guys made the best sandwich I have ever had and believe me I have tried many. Also the beer selection is great. Combo of good food great atmosphere and great beer makes for a win all around.

I was lucky enough to finally discover this excellent place last night, as a friend’s band was playing there. It drew a mixed crowd, and the general vibe is “we are neighbors.” Very cool. Mary worked the bar quickly and beautifully; she had a smile for everyone. The outside area is perfect for a nice night. Excellent decor; very German and old-fashioned. I will definitely go back!

Came here on a fall Saturday night for a little night cap after a wedding. From the outside you would hardly expect anything from this place, a real dive bar if there ever was one in Patchogue. But once you get, if you’re like me you’ll be pleasantly surprised! The place offers live music occasionally and has a ton of space both indoors and out back to hangout, both with TVs in case you have any sport viewing you want to do as well. I definitely recommend the outdoor area if you’ve got a nice enough night for it. The drink variety won’t blow your pants off, but it’s got something for everybody and at prices that won’t blow your pants off either. Although I didn’t get a chance to try any of the food, from what I saw though it looked like good bar fare, and I in particular was eyeing the pizza. There’s no dedicated parking lot, but there is some decent parking along the side streets nearby that shouldn’t give you too much issue. This place is a nice change up from the typical scene you see a long main street. It might not be the loud and club like vibe you might be looking for, but for me that’s quite alright. Would be happy to come back here anytime for a cold hard beverage and good conversation.

Went to see a band play and a few drinks. Can’t say enough good things about the staff and atmosphere. The place was packed but they didn’t let anyone stand at the bar without a drink or quick service. Price for mixed drinks were fair. Cheaper than most. There’s an outdoor area w fire pit.

We are local people and had heard this place had opened up. We came in the early evening just 2 check it out. When we walked in there were about 6 pp just hanging around. We went 2 walk past them 2 check out the back and one of the guys stepped in front of me as I passed, pushed me and laughed. I felt very intimidated. Who does that 2 a stranger? I stayed cool and walked out the back. We left. We will not be back.

False advertising here. There is a menu posted on the site with more than bar pizza and hot dogs with potato chips.We went there to have a dinner and it turns out that the woman taking the order says they only have brockwurst , pretzels and frozen pizza. I was beyond disappointed. Norhing special- The place was your regular local neighborhood hole in the wall pub with only the bar food that was mentioned earlier.
