Service was great! We called ahead to let the restaurant know we were going to be there a few minutes late for our reservation, and as soon as we got there they had us seated within 5 minutes. Our server was attentive and friendly; also did regular check backs. The atmosphere was busy and booming. The only reasons for the 3 stars is – they brought me the wrong omelette initially with no ingredients I had ordered (god forbid I had a mushroom allergy or something, thankfully I only cut into the omelette and realized it before eating the bite) – so I had to eat after my family finished- and the flight drinks, although adorable, weren’t ALL up to par. Overall, we’d definitely return again!

Really wanted to like this place. Our first time yesterday and food was not good and way overpriced. My bacon was tough. More like beef Jerky. Home fries had a weird flavor but looked good. My husband had biscuits and gravy that he didnt like at all amf he gets them often at other restaurants. Our server was very kind and the place looked clean.

I really enjoyed my visit to Friendly Toast. Their pancakes were absolutely delicious: fluffy, flavorful, and easily the highlight of my meal. The waffle fries were also excellent, perfectly crisp and well seasoned. I also tried the French toast, which was good but didn’t quite stand out the way the pancakes did. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely come back, especially for those pancakes. Great customer service and cool interior!

Sweet Caroline, this place is so good, so good, so good! I’ve visited The Friendly Toast 3x now whenever I’ve made my way to Massachusetts and it has never let me down. This is a popular brunch spot in Andover so weekend walk-ins be warned you will be waiting for a table. Get on their wait list ahead of time via their website and cut down your wait time. Recommendations: Chicken and Waffles, French Toast & Blueberry Pancakes. The Monster Breakfast dish comes with pancakes or french toast AND home fries PLUS bacon & eggs (any style – I like over easy with the home fries), Mimosa with Orange Juice or the Raspberry Mimosa (little sweet but tasty). I’ve had different waitresses serve my family each visit and all have been great. A definite family friendly environment – the kids will love it.

Everything was amazing. The service (provided by Lisa T.) was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is “fun diner” – the dining room was clean, the bathroom was clean and well stocked, and what was visible of the back prep area was clean and organized.
But the food! Oh the food. It was truly delicious and unique. A perfect balance of savory-sweet-spicy! Crispy, creamy, pop-in-your-mouth flavors. The portions are big enough that we couldn’t eat it all and we took it home. We’re definitely going to be back. It was entirely worth the half hour drive to get here!

I visited the North Andover location on Father’s Day and it was packed. I was able to get a seat at the bar as I was by myself and within a few minutes the few seats left were full. The bartender greeted me promptly giving me time with the menu. I forget which mimosa I ordered but it was tasty. I got the egg rolls (not pictured because I devoured them) and the everything bagel aoli on there is literally everything. So good I’ll be ordering them again for sure! I also got the breakfast burrito and I believe I added chorizo and side of bacon. The only reason I didn’t finish it was because the portions are so generous! The manager was hard at work and visible throughout my visit helping her team. I don’t typically venture away from the eggs Benedict but I’m still thinking about this meal 2 weeks later so I wanted to write a review!

firstly, i’ll say its always a good time every time i visit here. the service is always great as well. unfortunately, since finding out about the changes to the menu, i may not frequent here as much. the chorizo benny was a top menu item and am deeply disappointed to see it gone. I sometimes order the rice bowl or chicken and waffles which i would like to suggest to have an option of no onions in the roasted poblano corn for allergy purposes! but nonetheless i ordered the breakfast street tacos and i will say that while it is delicious, the presentation is not practical. impossible to eat without it all falling apart and should at least be a standard to double the tortillas if you’re going to use corn tortillas. as for the drinks, the açaí mimosa and marg flight were pretty good (except for the spicy watermelon). good food and do recommend but it may not be our go-to spot anymore.

Great food, vibe, and service. Took the iced coffee, and that was very refreshing. Loved playing their crossword with crayons while waiting for the food. The service was so quick that by the time we got done with the crossword, the food arrived. I took the hash quiche and loved it. My bf took the huevos rancheros, and loved it as well. Overall, pretty good experience!
