Pricey- just for the 2 of us was $48. We both got tacos, 1 blackened chicken and 1 blackened fish and they didn’t have much flavor. Both meats tasted pretty bland and could have been seasoned better, and my fish was a little dry. Nice atmosphere inside and outside. Sides were great, we enjoyed the hush puppies and sweet potato fries. Too much salt on the fries. We didn’t like the cheese sticks- WAY too much cheese and I don’t think it was Mozzarella. Service was great, we came when it was slow and the girls working were very kind.

I went right when they opened, and had amazing customer service. Food was awesome! Their cheese sticks tasted like there was pepper jack If you want a good taco, get the shrimp taco ❤️ For dessert, their pecan cobbler is amazing! All around great place. The waitress was so nice and took good care of me Y’all go check em out!

I feel like Brothers is a mixed bag. On one hand we really like the atmosphere and the vibe. It has a beautiful scenic view of Smith Lake and oftentimes they have live music in the evenings, especially on the weekends.
However, to quote something I hear often on Food Network, the execution is lacking.
The menu itself is just fine and you’re excited no matter what you order. However, from the 3 times we have been there, the food could best be described as OK. One might even say lacklustre.
While we were more than happy with our service from the waitress, I would mention that our dessert was brought up before we were half way finished with our meal. With ice cream, that doesn’t work so well!
Finally, because I know it’s so important in this town I do want to say for two of us with only 2 tacos, one shrimp poboy, one side serving of cajun grits, 4 beers, and one pecan dessert, the cost of the meal was more than $63, not including tip. For $31.50 per person, I expected much better food. Also, while the food itself was ok, the presentation was all over the board. Tacos served on a plate; PoBoy served on a paper disposable mini-tray with wax paper; and grits served in an aluminum take-out bowl.
BOSL has the potential to be a very top restaurant in Cullman County, but it needs a little work.

Great food and great people. The staff was really nice and the food was really good. The only thing that I have to say negative was the price, I went with 2 other people and our order was about $25 per person. Definitely the best restaurant in Cullman county and possibly even between Birmingham and Huntsville/Decatur

Brothers is soooo delicious! I had the shrimp tacos and they couldn’t have been better! Slightly spicy but not overwhelming… shrimp cooked perfectly and on a toasted tortilla! Fantastic! We sat on the porch and with the view it was perfect for a Saturday lunch date! ❤ We will be visiting again!!!

This is some great food. I had fried shrimp, my daughter had tacos with summer salsa, and my son had cheeseburger. My husband and I had Goat Island beers. Such a fun place right on the lake!
