Burgers were good and flavorful. Onion Rings were a let down being mostly batter and not really much flavor. The fries and tots however were good. Staff were friendly and custard was very good. That size is a mini and was perfect.

Nothing more then a upscale mcdonals. Had a burger and of course could taste the salt wash on the meat. What little of it there was. You would think with their prices you would get more then a piece of meat thicker then a piece of paper. Not sure what the hype is. But I can get a better burger elsewhere with a actual burger for about the same price.. won’t waste my time anymore.
Service was great though.. no complaints there

I’m extremely disappointed by what I witnessed during my recent visit to Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. What I saw raised serious concerns for me about food safety and management practices at this location.
While I was there, a manager working in the kitchen was visibly sick. I later learned that he had been throwing up earlier that same day but was still required to work and handle food. Seeing someone who had been vomiting that day actively preparing food is extremely concerning from a public health standpoint.
Anyone familiar with basic restaurant food safety rules knows that employees experiencing symptoms like vomiting should not be working around food preparation areas. That standard exists specifically to prevent foodborne illness and protect customers. Allowing a sick employee to remain in the kitchen raises serious questions about whether proper sanitation and illness policies are being followed.
It also makes me feel bad for the employee involved. No worker should feel pressured to come in and handle food while they’re clearly sick. Good management should protect both their employees and their customers, and in this case it didn’t seem like either were being prioritized.
Because of what I witnessed, I honestly do not feel comfortable returning to this location. Food safety should be the bare minimum expectation when eating out, and this situation completely destroyed my confidence in the cleanliness and management of this restaurant.
Due to the seriousness of what I saw, I will also be reporting this situation to the appropriate health authorities so that it can be looked into. I hope the issue is addressed because customers should never have to question whether someone preparing their food is actively ill.

The place was very clean. Customer service was absolutely excellent. Food came out great. Miles better than the 501 location.

Decided to try this place out with my uncle, heard good things but not this time it being my first time. Drove to the intercom to order and waited for about 10 minutes with nobody coming to take my order then decided to drive up to window and they told me the sensor didn’t pick my truck because it was “lifted” mind you it has stock tires and no lift. So I ordered 2 meals at the window and a side of cheese curds. Proceeded to wait an additional 30 minutes at the window waiting on my food. When it finally came out the cheese curds were like eating a spoon full of salt they were terrible. Fries were cold and the burger I ordered had no ketchup or mustard like I asked for and it was super salty and overly cheesy. For almost 35 dollars for two medium meals and a small side of cheese curds I was very upset about it.

Horrible management.
My fiance and I went to try this new restaurant on Sunday 1/11/26 and ordered a couple meals and a side of chili cheese fries (a $5 item mind you). We drive 30+ mins home in surfside to find out no cheese fries in the bag. We called- no answer. Kept receipt and went back tonight 1/12/26 to order yet again and ask for the cheese fries to be taken off the bill.
We were told by MANAGEMENT “well should’ve come back yesterday” we explained we live 30mins ONE way there and 30 mins back and already had driven that same 30 mins there and back yesterday. We also called yesterday with no answer and the manager tonight said “yeah the phones aren’t hooked up yet we’re new” so therefore no way to inform the restaurant that they made a mistake. The customer could’ve been saved with a $5 voucher after spending $35 on other food. this is such a joke of an establishment. Will not be returning and will tell others about their bad service and even worst management.

Even after reading all of the negative reviews, I still wanted to try out this new place. Today i ordered a bacon cheeseburger combo and BROWNIE sundae. As reported in other reviews, the burgers are heavily salted, and as much as I love salt, this was too much. I waited ten minutes for the car in front of me to pull away.So I fully expected my fries to be stone cold, and they were. I asked the cashier to please exchange them and cheat it. Besides the heavily salted food, my $5.99 brownie sundae to my surprise didn’t have a brownie, so I paid six dollars for a cup of chocolate, yogurt with chocolate syrup and a cherry. Is place been open for over two weeks, at which point they should have all of these bugs worked out. Clearly they don’t. Add me to the ONE AND DONE group because for $19.65, I would have been more happy with FIVE GUYS!

I love the vanilla custard. Asked for one with cherry topping and the other with Reese’s. Reese’s one was fine, but the cherry topping was literally one maraschino cherry not sure what to think there, maybe a misunderstanding, but custard was delicious nonetheless

I ordered the original Freddy’s burger (without bacon), fries, and a lemonade. The food was amazing and the only complaint that I would have is the lemonade. It tasted like they had five gallons of water and 1 cup of lemon juice with no sugar.
