I love this location and have gone many times prior to today. Today when I was waiting for my mobile order I watched a soup that was brought to a table, get brought back to the kitchen and the chef dumped that soup back in the soup warmer. Then scooped a new soup for the guest. That was bewildering to see. Today I also waited almost 20 minutes past the time my order was supposed to be ready. Usually I don’t mind this, I understand places get busy, but guests that placed to-go orders while I was waiting got their food before me. I ordered a one scoop meal for reference.

The resteraunt has an inviting and happy vibe. I grabbed my selections from the cooler, paid and was on my way out – but not before a resteraunt staffer thanked me for stopping in. Quick trips rarely make an impression but this one did for me.

Happened to pop in here on a whim with my son on a Friday. Was quite impressed with the selection. I got the classic chicken salad and it was really good! My son got something like a turkey club and he liked it also.
He convinced me to get the red velvet cake. OMG!! SOOO GOOD. I split it into smaller bites and am still nibbling on it 5 days later and just sooo good. Really!! not stale, not anything but goodness.
I can’t wait to come back and try more.

Let me begin by saying I’m not a chick-salad guy but I agreed to visit this Fishers restaurant for lunch. Much to my surprise I was really surprised by the large selection and delighted that I liked the classic. Added a soup and it made for a very nice meal. Id come again for sure!

Made an online order and didn’t realize I was 15 minutes early to pick up my food so the ticket hadn’t even printed out yet for them to make it. The men behind the counter were so beyond nice and pushed my order through and made it right away. The food was AMAZING too!! Can’t recommend enough.

Was not very impressed by the quality or price of this place. Both the chicken salad and egg salad were lacking flavor, the club crackers seemed to be the only thing helping. Odd that was only choice to go with it. Now I love pickles however theirs was a complete disappointment, was weirdly dry and mushy. I’m really surprised this is a chain restaurant. The only reason 2 stars; the staff was extremely friendly and that was appreciated.

It’s chicken salad. Granted, it was pretty good chicken salad. There are several varieties of chicken salad, but it’s still chicken salad. They got the atmosphere right. It’s a fun bit of sunny, Southern charm. The clientele seemed happy and the staff was hard at work.
I had the spicy chicken salad, the Kickin’ Kay Lynne. Keep in mind that I am a pepper head, so my tolerance is high. There was a little kick in the back of the throat so I was a little impressed. And I also had the spicy pimento spread. I’m a sucker for pimento. It was less spicy than the chicken salad, but there was a hint in there for me.
So, as far as chicken salad, it was good chicken salad. As far as a stand alone restaurant, I am surprised that it’s succeeding focusing on one main item that is about the cheapest and easiest to make at home. Except egg salad. That’s easier and cheaper. But they have that here too.
