Love this place. I don’t think I’ve ever had something I didn’t completely enjoy. I appreciate there’s plenty of parking nearby and the staff are always friendly, courteous, and helpful. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. And the food is delicious. This last time I had the larb chicken and Tom Kha gai. My son had the Kao klook, and wife the summer rolls.
I never get tired of this restaurant. There’s plenty of nearby parking. The location is great. The staff is friendly. The environment is very comfortable and relaxing. And the food is fantastic. I have no-kidding probably tried at least half of the menu and have never been disappointed. Always walking out with true satisfaction. This last trip my wife had the summer rolls (one of her go-to items), while I had the Tom Kha ga ( so delicious) and the kao klook.
The food here is always delicious. The flavor profiles are spot on. The amount of spice or heat is perfect (based on your request). And the portions are just right. If you plan to go, there is a sizable parking lot about two blocks away, and some limited street parking nearby. The service is always great, with friendly and attentive staff. The setting is casual, with different themes in the restaurant. If you bring that someone special, it’s a great date night spot. On this visit I had the Tom Kha ga soup, which is so good, and the yun ner (spicy beef salad), finding this was a perfect meal for me.
One of our favorite restaurants. The food is consistently delicious. There’s parking relatively nearby which makes it convenient. The service is always very good and the food is consistently delicious. With a nice setting, there’s no reason to not give this place a try. This time I had the pineapple fried rice. My wife had the angel eggplant and son the boat noodle soup. I love their food.
Continue to love this place. The food and service are consistently good. As mentioned before, the atmosphere is comfortable and good for hanging out with friends or taking someone on a date. Lighting is good, and there’s parking ~150 yards away. This time I’ve tried the sesame green beans (delicious) as an appetizer. For dinner I had the Kai klur fried rice, my wife her favorite (angel eggplant), and son the panang curry.
Since finding this place I’ve become a regular. The food is consistently delicious. There’s nearby parking about 150 yards away so not too inconvenient. It’s by the courthouse so be prepared to pay for daytime parking, but the food is worth it. Service is always great and we are made to feel comfortable. The setting is interesting with different themes. Pretty cool. This last time we had pad si ew (good but perhaps could be better), yellow chicken curry (absolutely delicious), and red curry (also so delicious).
We’ve gone a times in the last week. Everything has been great. Service. Food. Service. I’ve tried to get something different each time to share my experience. The interior is a bit eclectic but still very warm, comfortable, clean, and enjoyable. The last two days I tried several appetizers and main dishes. All great. The summer rolls, Kao klook, and chicken curry puffs are all fantastic. The moo yang, mango chicken, and angel chicken are all so delicious.
Just found this place and so glad I did. There aren’t many parking options but overall not too bad. Food is delicious and service is excellent. The atmosphere is very relaxing, comfortable, and yet classy. My wife and I went here after watching a movie and happy to try it. The summer rolls were perfect and had a very good sauce. My wife had the Chinese broccoli with crispy pork belly, and I had the Angel eggplant (oh my gosh so good). This place is a keeper.
The soups are bar none the best I’ve had in any circumstance. The food is delicious and moderate in portion size. Most everything is spicy, but just enough to enhance the flavors. The overall variety and blend of flavors is truly fantastic and complex, and not something easily replicated at home. One of my favorites here is the Sapporo on draft. This is an unusual treat that keeps me coming back.
Service is good as well. Always attentive and pleasant and thankfully not too overbearing.
Two big thumbs up to Sawatdee. I highly recommend this place, especially for an in-person visit.
Waiters are not helpful as they seem to be sitting at other tables and doing their own businesses, not circling around and providing napkins and refills. Also, two flies were trying to crawl on my plate.
I really enjoyed the Drunken Noodles, but their curries and Pad See Ew were also delicious. Can’t wait to try their duck rolls the next time I go!
The restaurant usually isn’t too busy with a large interior and outside seating too
Ordered calamari which was extremely chewy and soaked in grease (pictured). Ordered the Tom-Yum Seafood soup and it did not taste fresh at all very pungent seafood order that I know is not associated with Thai soups. The Pad-Ga-Pow was decent but the chewiness of the beef again was a turn off. Lastly, the seafood fried rice was flavorless and not appetizing at all.
On top of the gas this was a pricey dinner all for us to default to a pizza. Definitely, not recommended and would not return!
I have eaten here multiple times (solo and with small groups), and the experience is consistently satisfying. Entrée prices have been fair for the quality and portion sizes of every dish I’ve tried. The establishment is spacious with warm décor, a polished bar space, and minimal wait times.
