This place is done right. Burgers from cows out back, decorations are fitting to area, a hunters dream. But its elegant as well. Plenty of space and looks like they offer everything to private functions to lodging. Only thing I can recommend is moving the ashtray away from the door. I was trying to enjoy my burger and the smell was coming right through the place. Classy as can be except for that.

Our waitress was great, but the food was sadly disappointing, and honestly gross, that’s coming from a family of three with all unique taste in food. We were a little upset that we at least didn’t get some kind of discount off our bill, but it is what it is, and we learned that we will unfortunately not be eating there again, plus no free refills on fountain drinks, is kinda ridiculous.

I was out riding around on the Northeast BDR and one of the locals suggested this place for lunch and boy they were right this place is fantastic. They cater to bikers and are known for their burgers. This place raises their own beef in the back and it makes the world of difference. The burgers come out juicy and big. The menu even offers a 24oz burger. Definitely come here if you’re on section one of the BDR drop in and support this business.

The atmosphere is nice… beautiful hardwood floor dining area with taxidermy all round. We ordered beers, crabmeat stuffed mushrooms which were more like a crabmeat “suggestion” or imitation crab meat or whoknowswhat, the stuffing was just gummy and doughy. We also ordered the bbq prime rib sandwich, which was so so yummy and totally recommend if it is available

Grabbed this as a takeout dinner while staying at the nearby Postcard Cabins. Great food – got the shrimp & scallop pesto dish and the seafood fra diavolo dish and both were excellent. Julie really took care of us! Highly recommend!

This place was recommended to us to stay local when visiting a friend who has a summer house in the area. We had no idea how adorable this place would be! We opted for the King room (suite) which had a jacuzzi and sauna, our own back porch and backyard area and it was truly lovely! The price was a bit high but it was a holiday weekend so that’s understandable. The restaurant seemed very popular but we chose not to eat there as we are animal lovers and there were stuffed taxidermy creatures in every inch of the place. That part wasn’t for us… They do have a cute outdoor seating area though… All in all we were very happy and it was a wonderful experience!!!

We stopped for lunch on a very busy Sunday. Only 2 waitresses that worked their hearts out and did an amazing job. Everything was amazing. Food was cooked as ordered. The bathrooms were large and clean. We loved looking at all the souvenirs from so many hunting trips.

This restaurant is A+ ! We had the filet mignon and roasted red potato special and the schoolhouse burger, then the Reese’s pie and the Oreo pie for dessert – the food was delicious and our server, Meg, was very attentive and friendly! Quick service and a quaint, clean atmosphere. Don’t miss out!

We had a great dinner here. Just exploring the details of beautifully restored building and the taxidermy on the walls was worth a stop in. The food was very good. Salad bar was typical but a nice add on to the meal. They had steak and seafood options on the menu, but the hamburgers were from a local ranch so we opted for burgers. They were excellent and very recently priced. And cooked perfectly. You can get a 6 ounce or 12 ounce size. Six ounces probably fine for most people. I got the 12 ounce and it was more than I needed after a delicious appetizer, but having some the next day was a treat. The french fries were seasoned and above average.
There is a bar and a pool table, which looks like it’d be a nice way to spend some time, but we were in the dining area. They had some drink specials and a nice selection of beer. Wine options were disappointing so I the shows ommegang three philosophers beer to go with my burger. I am a fan of this brew, and I am rarely “local” to the brewery.
