The primary seating area is forward of the bar and kitchen. I love the interior design and the subtle choices. It is perfect level of closeness.
There is a second seating area outside which we used on a recent visit at the start of November 2025. It is long with narrowest part toward the front and expands backwards. It is covered and has radiant heaters on the wall. Brighter and more festive in lighting.
I am currently on a “got to have” path with mole sauces and they have one that is best I have found so far in my few north eastern traveling.
I can not wait to go back.
The mole pablano was ordered without any raw dairy (butter, cheese, sour cream, etc.).
The restaurant was understaffed for the 6:30-7pm Saturday crowd. Their salsa’s spicier than we like, but our request for sour cream went unmet. We probably waited at the table close to 20 minutes before our meal came & we’d finished the free chips & salsa long before then, but they never offered us more.
Entrees show how much effort goes into real Mexican cooking, with complicated saucing and slow cooked meats. Each plate comes with a choice of sides, the usual rice and beans but also Mexican street corn, very nice. Service was friendly and brisk.
Children would love this place. The menu would work for vegetarians and vegans, too. On an earlier visit I had a salad and the kitchen accommodated the changes I asked for.
On street parking was easy, and the restaurant is handicap accessible.
