The staff is nice, and this place is hopping. Be prepared to eat pizza made with Velveeta cheese; not mozzarella. We ate one slice because we were starving and ended up ordering steak and cheese hoagies instead. The cheese was, you guessed it…Velveeta!
The “Italian food is now made with Velveeta” phenomenon of Pennsylvania and upstate New York is really bizarre.

The food here is great – I genuinely love the pizza and that’s why we keep coming back. Unfortunately, the ordering and pickup times are consistently inaccurate. We’ve purposely arrive 20-25 minutes after the time we’re told because it’s never ready, assuming the extra buffer would help. Even then, we always end up waiting another 20 minutes once we arrive. By the time the order is actually ready, it’s often about 40 minutes later than the original promised time. The pizza is worth it, but the wait times definitely aren’t ideal and could use improvement if they want us to keep returning.

The food here is definitely pretty good but the service is absolutely terrible. Placed an order at 3:30pm to be told it would be an hour an 45min wait. Which I get and is understandable, things happen and places are busy, but when I show up 2 hours later to be told only a few more minutes, and ended up sitting there 20 plus extra minutes. I’m almost positive they didn’t start the order until I walked in the door. If I wanted to sit there and wait the whole time I wouldn’t have placed the order in advance. Would definitely recommend the pizza but maybe place the order a day in advance to ensure that it is ready on time. Also beware they charge a 3% card fee even when asked over the phone what the total is with card ended up paying a bit extra since they wanted to leave that fee out.

This is the best pizza we’ve had in PA yet!
*note before you go, they are CASH only.*
We ordered the square “special”, minus the anchovies, mushrooms and olives ($17). As a family with 2 adults and 2 kids this was more than enough pizza. We only ate half of it!
The pizza was cooked perfectly, the cheese was real cheese (not plastic nastiness), the sausage was house made, and the pepperoni was thick and delicious.
The server, who quite possibly is the owner, was very kind and explained everything to us after asking if it was our first visit.
The pizza order it’s self took a long time to come out. However, they make each pizza to order.
The only negative I could possibly come up with about this place is it could use a good cleaning. The walls and table cloths are dirty. But I wont even knock a star over this.

Amazing pizza! We got both mozzarella and (what they call) their “other” cheese.
The “other” cheese is excellent! It is almost like a creamy spaghetti sauce mixed with cheese.
Definitely try it!
We will go back and try a hoagie next time.

It was a Friday night and it was crazy busy which made the wait time from when we walked in to when we got our pizza about 45 minutes so be prepared to wait if you go on a weekend but it is worth the wait. Plenty of seating.
They get a ton of to-go orders.
They don’t deliver and they only accept cash.
The parking situation is not great as they only have 3 dedicated spots in front but you can usually find a spot on the street close by.
Prices are great for the quality of the food you get.
We will definitely return for the great food!

Their cold hoagies are all i have tried. They are reasonably priced and the roll is nice a soft, and freshly made to order.

I could have stopped for cash if I was informed when I placed my order.

First time trying Maroni’s and it was delicious. Everything from the crust to the cheese is unique. If you like Old Forge style pizza, odds are you will like this. The pepperoni is small and “cups” when baked, and it’s spicier than most you’ll find in the area. I tried the sausage on mine and it’s definitely not my favorite, but I’ll be back to try other kinds!

I don’t care what ANYONE says! This is the absolute best pizza in the world! I have been eating Andy’s and Lous since the 90s! This is a perfect marriage of both!
I wish they were open later! I could eat this every single day of the week if I could afford it! but it is a very decent price compared to other 12 cut trays in the area!

Take out… have not been here in several years due to our last few visits …when pizza was disappointing. We heard the pizza was back to it’s old greatness so thought we would give it another try. The pizza was perfect.. purchased both round and square (wished we ordered pepperoni when we saw that coming out of the oven, it looked delicious) both were just like we remembered!
