At St.Veg, we found the sweet spot between scratch-made food and a fast-casual evnrioment. We take a fresh approach to plant-based dining by focusing on real, organic whole foods that radiate vibrancy. Instead of trying to mimic the taste of meat, we allow flavors from natural ingredients to shine on their own, without additives or artificial flavors.
Our unique menu is 100% plant-based, crafted from scratch, and made to order. We believe that fresh cooking paired with high quality ingredients yields true goodness to our health (and taste buds too!).

First off, I am a carnivore who thinks almost everything is better with bacon. And I loved my banh mi that had not a trace of meat but was mushroom based!!! And my wife’s veg loaf bowl? Huge, delicious, and not a bad thing in it! Add in delicious store made tater tots???? And you just had a really healthy, really yummy lunch!

We were so happy to stumble upon a Vegan place that does not use fake overprocessed meat. The veg rolls and Katsu Curry were delicious 10/10. We didn’t like the Pho though. We’d definitely be back to try the other menu items!

This is my 2nd time here. A week ago the restaurant was closed during lunchtime, no note. Very excited to try a vegan menu and had the Katsu bowl – have to say I miss these types of items the most as a 6 year plant-based dieter. Service was great, asked for recommendations. Katsu was pretty good, protein was not bad for lentil vs. fake meat. Good portion sizes and value. Fast service. I will say that parking is a bear during lunchtime…I’ve figured out to park in the neighborhood and just walk across the street, so much calmer.
Update
Flavor Bomb Pho Dip is awesome – French dip was my favorite before and this goes that one better.

Edit: I went back again today and the purple salad is super flavorful and yummy! The vinegar kick in the dressing is amazing. It’s new-ish to the menu. I highly recommend!
Love this all vegan place! Pictured (from two different excursions) are the katsu curry bowl, apple pie, house made tater tots, shredded medley/veg loaf combo bowl, and of course, my favorite beverage of all time, the lavender ice tea!

I expect there to be a drop off in flavor when modifying a dish to be plant based but the drop off here was much smaller than I expected. All the dishes were very flavorful.
My favorite was the shredded medley bowl. The flavor bomb pho dip was on the saltier side but it truly did have a ton of flavor. I can see why it’s a best seller.
Friendly service, nice environment as well. I think this is a great place if you are vegetarian or are looking to eat something healthy.

Just purchased food from here for myself and two others.
The tots were 10/10.
The apple pastry: delicious and Not too sweet.
Now, the dishes:
The “pho” is pretty sweet and doesn’t have much of any traditional pho flavor; no spice, no deep seasoned flavor.
I got the Flavor Bomb Pho Dip sandwich.
The sandwich was literally just mushroom and bean sprouts. No sauce, no roughage.
Very bland and no filling.
Someone else got the Katsu bowl. They liked it! It needed salt but was pretty good!
The other person got the St. Veg Pho; they are currently steeping Star of Anise in it, in hopes to get some real pho flavor.
I may be willing to try again, but the $17 bread w/ mushroom sandwich was a huge and pricey let down.

Looking for vegan planted based options in the DMV can be a little challenging and I’m so glad that St. Veg is on the scene to make it little easier.
The Asian cuisine focused restaurant prides itself on not cooking with any processed mock meats or food additives.
Everything that comes out of the kitchen is made from scratch everyday and only uses local and organic produce.
During my visit I ordered the Flavor Bomb Pho Dip which was packed with mushrooms and the Fresh Summer Rolls that were crunchy and filling.
I was so impressed by their food that I might make the trek out to Rockville on a more regular basis.

St. Veg is a total gem! I’m so grateful for a place that serves such amazing, clean food. The owner is incredibly passionate, and it really shows in every dish. The menu is super creative and 100% plant-based. Everything is made fresh with organic ingredients, and it’s clear that a lot of love goes into every plate. The restaurant itself is super clean and inviting, with a great variety of options to choose from. And the apple pie ( which deserves a separate review) – it’s beyond delicious and you won’t want to share a single bite!

Stopped by this plant based restaurant today while in Rockville, MD. I was greeted as soon as in walked in. The place was clean and staff friendly. You order on a touchscreen at the counter and they text you when your order is ready. The food was delicious and came out pretty quickly for what I ordered. If you eat plant based food I definitely recommend checking St. Veg out. The restaurant is in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking.

Delicious vegan food, and I say this as a non-vegan. They had a great variety of flavorful dishes and everything was well made. Staff are very friendly and make sure all your needs are taken care of. I had the potato and chickpea croquettes which were really good but I would definitely love to come back and try something different. The tater tots were perfection and came with a spicy chutney – I am craving this combination again.
The only criticism is they told us their cups were plant based when they are clearly plastic (with the plastic material symbol), although I don’t personally care if they use plastic.
