My boyfriend and I visit Amsterdam Alley Bar & Lounge quite often, and it’s become one of our favorite spots in the area especially for the pierogis! They’re absolutely amazing, always fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Honestly, we’ve tried pierogis at other places, but nothing compares.

The beer is always cold (exactly how it should be), and the atmosphere is consistently great, relaxed but lively, making it perfect for a casual night out or even just a quick bite and drink. The service is also top-notch. The staff is incredibly attentive without being overbearing, and they always make us feel welcome.

Highly recommend checking this place out, especially if you’re into comfort food done right and a chill, friendly vibe.

It was a relatively positive experience, my steak strips were pretty good but based on one visit I was not too convinced about the quality of their service, I’ll visit again in to see if I get a different opinion.

Linden is a neighborhood that was once all Polish. Not so much now, but it still attracts many Polish patrons wanting to drink and eat the familiar cuisine. Located on West Price Street off of a busy Wood Avenue and highly recommended, some of my colleagues came to this hidden gem, Amsterdam Alley for lunch. Upon arrival, the establishment isn’t a large building and has outdoor seating available. Upon entering, the inside has a front room with a bar and several high-top tables. The back room has standard-height tables. Both rooms have several TVs. It’s inviting, charming, rustic, and very clean. We were greeted by the staff and decided on a table in the back room. Our server, Kasia, was informative and accommodating. There were several menus given to us: the main had a big variety of Polish classics; today’s special; and lunch. We ordered from the lunch menu and got six pieces of pierogis with mushroom soup, a Polish-style mushroom-stuffed baguette, and a grilled Polish kielbasa sandwich with sautéed onions and pickles, accompanied by fries. The food was excellent, fresh, and authentically Polish! However, there was a small incident with the soup, but our server was able to rectify the problem. The portions were just right, and the prices were amazing. We could recommend this place.

On a cold winters day, there is no other comfort food that can surpass the taste of Hungarian beef goulash, pea soup and pork tenderloin with mushroom atvv be this little know place in Linden, New Jersey. Their chicken livers are also superb, A must visit to Polish, Eastern European food.

Very good polish food and wonderful bar. Polish and Czech classic beers as well as some local favorites, e.g. Kane. We had a nice selection of polish favs: pierogi, kielbasa, and potato pancakes. All were delicious. Well done!

I tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday and was extremely pleased. The restaurant has a large bar and 2 seating areas which offered a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. There is also an outdoor seating area. Food was excellent, menu is quite extensive with Polish and non Polish items. We had sea bass and stuffed cabbage, both of which were delicious, served with 2 sides, one of which were 3 different Polish salads which was a really nice touch since they were all great. Desert and coffee were fantastic and cocktails were well made and reasonably priced, especially for this area. From the moment you walked in Izabela made you feel at home and welcome, never rushed and the service throughout was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you have never been there check it out, you will not be disappointed. I can’t wait until my next visit.

This is a fantastic little place tucked away in a busy town. It’s relatively small but there is outdoor seating available. The atmosphere here is upbeat and has a fantastic energy. Our bartender had so many good stories to tell.

I ordered some food to go with my drinks and I am so glad I did. The pierogies were delicious just as I thought and the mushroom stuffed baguette was so good. I ate every dang piece of food on my plate! I will definitely go back to try somemmore.of the menu.
