Stopped by The Slow Down State while I was in town and found this little gem! Brought my own cup for an Americano and grabbed a matcha to-go in a glass jar — such a cool idea. You get $1 back when you return it, and it was super convenient to bring on a hike. The barista was really warm and easy to talk to, and the whole place just had a great vibe. Loved the drinks, the atmosphere, and the town!

Iced mocha breve = good. Chocolate chip/chunk w/sea salt = fantastic. Interesting, first time for everything .. they take eco friendly to a whole new level! My drink was to-go and it came in a used, washed & clean food jar with the original screw on lid. I’m gonna guess it was originally a pickle jar?

This place was amazing! They make their own nut milk daily with cashews, almonds and maple syrup. INCREDIBLE! I got a dirty chai and the spice combo was something I’ve never experienced before. They also serve in 12 oz glass jars which is such an eco friendly and you can return them for a $1 deposit or just reuse as you prefer. Definitely going back here if I return to Sisters!

Do not pass by this amazing spot! Incredible service, great vibe and as a coffee snob – DELISH. I especially LOVE no single use cups. I was gifted a jar and koozie and they’ll reuse them when you return. Sticking around to enjoy your bevie, grab a mug at the mug library!!! Give one. Take one. Can’t wait to go back to this gem!

Amazing coffee, quiet and friendly atmosphere. Great place to ~slow down~ and enjoy a drink. Also appreciate the zero/low waste philosophy and re-usable to-go cups!

Chai is very strong (which is great) but overly sweet. I don’t think I’ve ever had a chai latte that is so sugary. If I were ordering again, I’d ask them to drastically cut the sweetness.
I’m sure they’re just getting started and can’t afford more aesthetic decor or sound absorption, but I would definitely consider adding wall or ceiling treatments that help absorb sound, as the space is very loud due to all the hard surfaces.
