Fried chicken was old and cold not made fresh. The instant potatoes were thick and weird. The chicken fried chicken was mostly batter and to salty. The corn was cold. The salad dressing was bad probably expired. And the croutons were fried in old grease not eatable. First and last time I will go there. 35$ for bad food. Waitress first day or so it seemed.

They have new semiregular hours again. They do catering which can effect dining room hours. Food is always good, service is quick and comfortable.

I absolutely love this place! They have the BEST grilled cheese and sweet potatoe fries!! We were able to get seated quickly and drinks arrived promptly; however it took much longer than expected to get our food. That was the only disappointing part of the meal. Food was fantastic, our waitress was very kind and didn’t bother us frequently. Atmosphere is cozy. It’s a must try kind of place!

My husband and I hadn’t been here since before the pandemic. We had only a short wait before being seated. My husband had the shrimp dinner. I order the country fried steak dinner. We got our money’s worth, that’s for sure. The food was delicious and we had enough leftovers for the next day. The wait staff took great care of us too. Oh!!! And we got pie to take home (coconut and a chocolate cream).

Charming restaurant in a delightful old building. Limited vegetarian options, but try the SantaFe salad with no chicken, tasty. If you leave room for dessert they have fabulous options. I literally have never eaten anything here that I did not like.
