Gate c Auntie Anne’s was probably the worst experience i had on my 20 hour journey. The cashier didn’t speak to me when I said hello. He dropped my pretzel in a vat of butter and the tossed it in a bag like it was normal. Contactless payment was pointless as It required me to choose if I wanted tip.

Pretzels are my weakness! Whenever I see fresh pretzels I got to have one. I go to Dulles Town Center a lot, so I’ve been to this place many times and ever time the staff doesn’t “disappoint” me, they’re slow meaning they don’t care if you want to wait or not but they’re going to take their time. I wish there was another Auntie Anne’s close by.

Staff is really nice and patient because I never know what I want until after I’ve stood there wasting their time and holding up the line but they never try to rush me.
Good prices too make this a fun spot for a quick bite.

Tree Nut Allergy Beware:
I am a frequent visitor to this location and never had a problem. Today the person in front of me ordered the almond pretzel. I requested to the boy at the counter to please use different tongs when he got my pretzel as I am allergic to the almonds. He said it’s already cross contaminated as they use the same butter. I said okay but sill use the different tongs as that would reduce the likelihood of a reaction.The boy at the counter and the other employee behind him said well we use the same butter and to request a separate pretzel be made just for me. I understand there is always a risk for cross-contamination, but the fact that they admit and do nothing to reduce the chances of cross-contamination of an extremely common nut allergy is concerning and disappointing. I left without buying anything as I was not waiting for them to make a completely different pretzel just for me. This would be a very simple problem to solve by just using different utensils as asked. Also, the employees should not be arguing about a simple request to use a different untesil to serve the food.

Don’t believe the employees when they tell u they only keep the prezlels out for 40 min then throw them away!
