My family and I had a delightful lunch at Villa de Flora, located on the second floor of the Gaylord Palms, which recently celebrated nearly 22 years since opening its doors. It had been a couple of years since my last visit, and I was thrilled to see the beautiful renovations that truly enhanced the property.
We arrived just before noon and were promptly seated by the friendly hostesses. Our server, Cathy, was absolutely fabulous! She and her team offered great suggestions from the buffet and ensured we had everything we needed, including timely refills. One of the chefs even went out of their way to prepare a special pizza for me, which quickly became my favorite dish of the day! ( Light sauce, light cheese and extra pepperoni! )
The atmosphere at Villa de Flora is inviting and family-friendly, making it perfect for guests of all ages. After our enjoyable meal, we strolled around the property, exploring various shops and activities, including alligator feeding and a preview of some fascinating snakes.
If you’re looking for a spot that combines delicious Mediterranean cuisine with a welcoming environment, I highly recommend Villa de Flora. We will definitely be returning and ask for Cathy !

I dined here with my kids on Christmas as I was here overnight and wanted a great dining experience. I was disappointed. The atmosphere is pretty, the advice was good the food was very lack luster. For the price I pre-paid for the dinner- it did not align and measure up to the main entrees offered. It reminded me of a buffet after a church service, not a premium dinner at a major hotel. I will try the breakfast next time to see if that’s better, but I will never ever pay for that buffet again. Please do better!

The appetizer and main courses are very good. Desserts are good but still can not compete with some European countries. Price wise, I think it should be $30 per person. Count $210 for a party of 4 with 1 beer each. Add $40 for tips, and you are at $250 for one meal. The atmosphere and servers are great. As titanium members, you don’t get discounts at this restaurant.

Food was good, service all right for the time of year: December which is deceptively busy and not the usual way Villa nor Gaylord Resort operates during summer.
Parking: paid only, $38 flat fee, and restaurant does not validate parking tickets anymore (so add this fee to your dinner price).
Dinner: in December 2024 is $40 per adult and $20 per child; bottled beer only starting at $8; wine available by glass or bottle.
We reserved dinner table in advance, and even though they noted birthday celebration, it was neither acknowledged nor celebrated with minimum hospitality services.
Disappointing experience compared to many years of coming and celebration with friends and family. Time to seek a new brand

Anyone that leaves less than 5 stars for this place is insane! Food was incredible. Staff was so friendly and quick. The variety of food was amazing!! Absolutely the best value when compared to the other restaurants at the Gaylord resort. Highly recommend!!

This was one of my favorite buffets for many years. Unfortunately, over the past 2-3 years, it has slipped from top-tier to merely decent. Today, it feels less like a destination buffet and more like a mediocre cruise buffet or catered meal. I understand that food costs have risen and restaurants look for ways to cut back, but it’s hard to call this a “Mediterranean buffet” when the only seafood option is a basic salmon dish. Everything else is standard American fare: chicken, beef, pork… like checking boxes on an RSVP card. The menu has become generic and corporate, relying on the same ingredients you could find almost anywhere. That feels like a deliberate shift toward prioritizing profit over quality. Would I recommend going out of your way to eat here? No. At this point, it’s simply a convenient option when average is good enough while staying at the Gaylord Palms.

My husband and I went to Brunch at this restaurant on a Sunday. You HAVE to go here if you stay at the Gaylord Palms!! The price for brunch is extremely reasonable. It costs just $39 per person and is totally worth it! There are quite a few other restaurants around Orlando, Kissimmee where the prices for brunch is crazy expensive. This place is way cheaper, at least half the price if not more but the food is just as good if not better than the more expensive ones. There are many items to choose from like soft scrambled eggs (not dried out) like in many restaurants, Bacon, sausage, an Omelet station, Biscuits, gravy, lots of pastries, I could go on and on. Oh and the coffee, drinks are all included!! The view and atmosphere are gorgeous as well. The service is wonderful.
